When you’re too focused on something, you can become shortsighted and miss out on what’s really important. If you are upset over job searching or bad grades from the exam, try to look at other aspects of life. If you get back to studying from somewhere else, you could feel something new that you couldn’t before. It could be the same formula or a sentence that you saw every day, but it might seem different. I hope you have the chance to have a look at what’s around you, and come back to what you were doing afterwards.
Lee Sang Yoon, Master in the House Ep. 28
To all the young people who have many concerns, you might be able to broaden your perspective if you just look around.

Reasons to watch ‘Master in the House’
Weekly dosage of wisdom from the Masters.
Ultra good chemistry between the cast members (which is kinda unexpected with this never-seen-before combination).
Hilarious banters with their Masters.
Their never-ending competitive streaks from cooking contests, random games, oaths, and even being the Master’s favourite pupil.
Getting to know the Master’s daily schedules, and following it to a tee.
Learning the Master’s philosophy of life - why they do tasks in a certain manner, reasons behind their habits - basically the values they hold and little lessons taken from each Master (that ultimately sets them apart from others and plays a part in contributing towards their personal success).
My favourite aspect of this show is that each member has their own roles to play. (And the roles somehow come naturally with their individual personalities instead of being pre-determined).
Lee Sang Yoon - the awkward variety rookie with an analytical mind, often quiet during shoots but turns into a chatterbox who keeps the other members up at night, the one who can withstand any pain
Yang Se Hyeong - the comedian who tries hard to make others laugh, the mood maker, often seen as the adorable one though he’s the second oldest among the cast
Lee Seung Gi - the host who steers the conversation in the right direction with years of experience in variety shows, has a ‘show-off’ disease, has a lot of pride in showing his body or ‘manliness’
Yook Sung Jae - the maknae who’s mature for his age, easily emotional, shares sensible thoughts when told to reflect
