South Korea has depended on international adoption–an industrialized system of child export, masquerading as a humanitarian social welfare policy–for more than 60 years. The undersigned call upon the government to end the needless separation of children from their mothers and families. Instead of mindlessly sending children away for adoption, we ask South Korean lawmakers to increase support for and protect the rights of single mothers, their children, and returning adoptees. Deadline to include your signature is July 10, midnight, Pacific Time.
