I hate westerners using the term expat when they’re in Korea because they only use it to explain Americans or Europeans and use it as a class marker to distinguish themselves from migrant workers from say China or South East Asia who come to Korea to work factory jobs and what not.

You came to Seoul to work too, you too are a migrant worker.

Also most of these people are English teachers and I’m so sick and tired of watching these young white people use Korean kids’ educations as an excuse to get paid to ~visit and explore exotic oriental countries~.
