ok so rewatching s4 of LoK (sorry I couldn’t start at s1 cuz I didn’t enjoy s1 or s2 very much tbh) and here are some thoughts:

*i’m much more understanding of mako this go around, and i enjoy his character a great deal more. tldr; going through a lot of weird relationship stuff and the dissolution of a 6 year relationship made me understand his assholeish antics in s1&2

*i still love bolin, probably even more now than before. he’s so earnest and dopey but also smart when he has to be and his cute face and powerlifter body and I STILL CAN’T DEAL

*korra’s recovery arc resonates with me much more now that i’m more ~mature~ and ~wise~

*i still struggle to see the slowburn of korrasami tbh BUT that doesn’t mean i still love and adore them as a pairing

*i hate the idea of zhurrick now more than ever. varrick redeemed himself but he can still fuck right off, zhu li deserves better
