So,, power went out for no god damn reason in my apt AND the school, THE DAY OF SENIOR BFA EXHIBITION SETUP, so guess ill just go to sleep instead! 🤷

*laughs nervously* I totally didn’t engineer a neighborhood-wide power outage in order to get my roomate to get some sleep for once... hahahahaha...that’d be crazy!...I mean, how would I even do that? *blueprints for the city powergrid fall out of my sleeve*

I just found out that the US Postal service has very specific rules for the labeling and shipping of live bees. These rules, while extensive, and much less restrictive than the rules for mailing live scorpions. You can’t mail turtles at all. Bees are fine, but not turtles.  

I really don’t know what to do this information, but I’m glad I have it.

I just want to see a version of As you Like It where when in Act 1 Scene 2 when Rosalind says “Sir, you have wrestled well and overthrown more than your enemies.” she shoots Orlando this really awkward/ironic/but-not-really-I-just-don't-know-how-to-flirt-unironically Smolder and Double Finger-Guns Combo™.  And then in at the beginning of Act 4 when Rosalind is pretending to be Ganymede pretending to be Rosalind, she does the same Smolder and Double Finger-Guns Combo™ and that's when Orlando starts to put together that Fake!Rosalind and Real!Rosalind are the same person because what are the odds that two separate people would actually think that move was a good idea?

I recently finished reading “Matilda” for the first time...

...and may I just say: 1) Miss Honey deserves only good things from this moment forward. 2) The Trunchbull can die in a hole. Slowly.  3) Bruce Bogtrotter is the hero this world needs. I stand behind Bruce Bogtrotter 5,000%. Bruce Bogtrotter for President of the Universe.

Can I just *deep breath* talk about how much I love that Aslan appears bigger as people grow older?? Instead of smaller? Because one of the most painful things about growing up is finding the places and things and yes, even the people, even the dreams we loved as children made smaller by time and experience and it’s SO beautiful that C.S. Lewis chose to illustrate Aslan as not only keeping up with growth and experience but also exceeding it, become greater as our needs become greater, even though it is not Him that has changed. Because it isn’t God who changes. What changes is how much he is revealed to us.
