Massive Explanation Of My Rottmnt AUs

As you all know I am literally insane, meaning I have several AUs going on at once because I am crazy and this is where my free time goes. Either way, I wanted to make a big post about all these AUs and explain them so that I can start posting more about them.

Warnings will be posted before each explanation so that there are no issues here.

One more note is that most of these AUs I've worked on with my writing partner @korvidq. We do like literally every story together and share ideas back and forth. I do most of the art, however, so that art is owned by me alone until stated otherwise. Anyways, without further ado, here are the AUs.

Okay, so originally I was never going to post these because I didn't feel like I needed to (and I don't think the art is the best), but I thought why not do it anyway.

So, here are two ref sheets for the Scar AU (it's really a Scarred Don + Blind Leo AU but just saying Scar AU is easier). These sheets got all my notes about struggling with how to draw. I also took pics of my own body doing some of the poses because I was struggling so if it looks weird idk my body just does that.

The Start of My Novel, Desolate

As you all are going to come to know, I am in the process of writing a novel. So far the plans are set for a trilogy, however, things are still subject to change. Regardless, this book will be survival sci-fi with a touch of cosmic horror. I have never been a fan of slasher horror. I am more of a monster horror/cosmic horror person. Something that is inhuman yet possesses human traits uncannily is, in my opinion, the best kind of horror.

I am writing this novel with one of my dear friends acting as editor, and someone to bounce ideas off of. They do not have a Tumblr and they don't have much of a media presence so they will mostly be going unnamed. Either way, most of the story is written by me, but credit where credit is due.

My novel won't be a long one but I want to focus on this post-apocalyptic world that came to be this way because of some greater beast. My partner and I came up with the idea of a fungal kind of unknown. I had named it the Abyssal. Our story centers around a young man who was born into this world and only knows of the world before because of his father's stories. His mother is someone I will get to later on in the details of this story as it becomes more solid. We named the young man, Alaric. It just sounded so right.

Alaric is trying to survive this world after the death of his father, and a horrible experience at the hands of a man he met wandering the road. Through his experience of the world, you come to know it too.

I wanted to tell a story of human relationships, more so than just that of giving people the creeps. I wanted it to mean something. So, in the coming months I will try to detail my thought process as it is written so that when I put it all together, you will have another story.
