This is SUCH a niche daemonism moment but !!! One of Thom's most prevalent and meaningful forms is the D'Albertis/Northern White-Lipped Python. I've always wanted to own one specifically because of that. These snakes are not common to find, at least in my area. But I saw today through a subscription email that one of my local reptile stores had gotten in some interesting new additions and so I went to look and ???? There's exactly ONE (1) male baby D'Albertis for and ON sale!!!

Holy shit guys he's home and I get to stare at him and he's just like a tiny baby form of Thom when he takes this form and I am just beyond words. I seriously don't know how to describe this kind of dopamine and connection and euphoria.

So introducing Mace. Named three-fold. 1. He's spicy so I wanted to do a spice name and mace is a real spice? 2. Again. Mace. Bitey baby. It works lmao. 3. Mace is the outer casing of NUTMEG! So I'm hoping this is an ode that he will become more mellow as we handle him and he grows ^^;

A since I keep bioactive enclosures, which includes isopods, I decided to go a little fancy. I love my dairy cows but I wanted something more colorful for Shortcake’s tank so I got these guys. They’re active during the day and so much fun to watch. Orange korfu. Hopefully they breed successfully!

She looks like she’s developing a lot of red on her belly fin! I’m super curious considering she only has two spots of vivid scarlet. I really hope it’ll develop more!
