My damn phone camera does not do Persephone justice, she is beauty
Well, I caved. Meet Sylvester. They're a CBB white lipped python of unknown sex. Despite my yellow deerskin gloves They're actually quite tame when outside of the cage, I just use the gloves as a general rule when I'm not super familiar with the individual snake. Sylvester currently lives in a modified xxl tote, but will be moved to a planted terrarium as soon as I finish setting it up. We have some time before they'll grow into it.
He got that "black cat in the sun" effect
Snake Swag Bracket FINAL ROUND!
It all comes down to this folks! We have two absolutely striking, gorgeous snakes before us, unique in their own incredible ways, and it is time to ask ourselves: who is the snake with the ULTIMATE SWAG??
San Francisco Garter Snake vs White Lipped Python
San Francisco Garter Snake
White Lipped Python
This is the art I'm most proud of, digital art of a white lipped python
It took so long I don't do much realism now, it's been almost 2 years and still haunts me 😂
The scales didn't line up so many times and there's no fixing it without getting rid of it all and the scales get less fun the further along the snake you get. I started on the face. The back of the snake required going to an art group so I'd actually sit and do it
Don't be frightened. You've only awoken his hunger~
