She groaned, turning over. “I just need sleep. I can eat later.” Aretah buried her face in the pillow, memory of how she ended up there too foggy. Too foggy to care, really. She did usually end up in a strange bed after a blackout, so it wasn’t news. The Mandalorian remembered the beginning, how she got him out of the bar—then blackness. “Any idea what happened?”

" ‘Ey, don’t blame me for this, I didn’t scratch you. I don’t do that. ‘Sides, have you seen these?" She lifted a hand, the nails short stubs. A shrug. "You’re not the only one who came through scathed." She grumbled. She had bruises in places you thought could never get bruised.

Aretah let out a soft sigh. “One of these days, you’re telling me how I ended up armorless as well.” She rubbed her eyes, pulling the covers around her tall frame so she was decently covered. It didn’t really matter that she wasn’t shy—she was just cold. The Mandalorian flopped back down with a soft groan.

"Let’s see, a lot of alcohol helped get you out of that place, then..that’s as far as I remember."

He grabbed a pillow, wrapping it around his head and groaning from the splitting feeling his skull was going through at the moment. Muffled words came from it soon,

"You know what the police say, right? Circumstantial evidence? Scratches on my back that I couldn't give myself, you're here. Short nails or not darlin', you're a suspect."

After a few minutes of hard and painful thinking, he pulled his head out from under the covers.

"I remember sitting down to have a bite to eat and drink, and then you came over and offered to buy me some more." He wrinkled his brow, trying to remember, "I remember stumbling out of the bar and singing and then... I woke up here."

Draining another glass of alcohol, Aretah grinned at the man. Suddenly, all she could think about…all she could think about was kissing the man. She’d only just met him. Head tilting slightly, she gave him a lopsided grin, her thoughts dissolving into nothing. She leaned forward, wrapped her hands in his shirt and kissed him full on the lips, feeling his surprise as she pulled him closer, deepening the kiss.

She giggled softly. “You’re one of thooose guys. Buddy, that ain’t gonna help. Just ‘cause you get touched by a woman, you get all snappy. I get it. I think.” A shrug. “Never been that way, so,” Aretah gave him a lopsided smile from under the red helmet.

The Mandalorian glanced around the room, almost uninterested in the man in front of her.

"I don't get snippy when I'm touched by a woman, I just prefer to want to be touched by the woman before they do it." He grunted at her, removing his helmet so that he could take a sip of his drink.

"Sorry that people touching me that I don't know kinda freaks me out." The word sorry had so much sarcasm dripping off of it that someone was going to have to bring a mop over to clean it off the floor.
