Well this is convenient, isnât it? You pass by this poor creature, bleeding out from the moment he walks out of his little abode. When judgement closes a door for you, the devil opens a window. You stroll up in your Sunday best, itching to get your hands wet after a particularly dry spell. But, as it is, youâve gotten orders to lie low.Â
So isnât it convenient, that this human is in need of a doctor? And oh, here you are, so happy to help. After you help, heâll owe you a favor. There will be a time when you donât need to lie low, and when that comes youâll cash it in.
âYou donât look so well,â â you state the obvious, kneeling down in front of the boy. âWill you sit still and allow me to help? I am a doctor, after all.âÂ
Rohan blinks the spots out of his vision to see someone hovering over him. For some reason, theyâre grinning down at him, which is a textbook example how not to react to someone whoâs injured. This would normally be a characteristic that would peak the mangakaâs interest, but heâd rather have emergency medical attention than a potential inspiration for a sadist character in a future chapter.Â
Fortunately, despite that sharp-toothed grin, this person does seem to be willing to help. They claim to be a doctor, which would be a godsend, but he hasnât lost quite enough blood to lose his senses completely.Â
âUnless you have the proper equipment with you, the ER would be preferable.â He blinks slowly, trying to upright himself. He fails.Â
