I’ve been working on trying my hand at double walled functional object recently. This teapot was thrown with two walls and closed at the top to make a ledge for the lid. Then, I cut into the top layer of clay to create the illusion of a carved pot, but the teapot is still functional and holds water.

I made a lamp base too but it didn’t come out nearly as well, unfortunately.

Still workin’ on it.
