↳ Kim Taehyung
Inspired by: Our Pharmacology lecture about Batrachotoxins
It would be very difficult to find a single word to describe Kim Taehyung. For starters, he's very eccentric. His mind works in such a different way but somehow he manages to use that to his advantage. He can hold conversations with his uniqueness and gets along with almost everyone.
He's very talented. He has a knack for photography that up until now, you can never understand how he makes random things so breathtaking. He can also play the saxophone and even though he's not the best at it, he's dedicated enough to at least be good at it.
And what astounds you the most is his ever changing set of interests. Just last week, you went with him to an art exhibit and now he calls you up to accompany him to the local zoo.
You expect him to drag you to the popular sites but you should've known by now that you should always expect the unexpected from him.
So instead, he takes you to the part of the zoo where they encase exotic animals. And he tells you that he's been reading about them and wants to see them in person. He gives out descriptions of the animals he's familiar with. And you just can't help but smile at his child-like antics.
He points a direction where there's an encased blue frog with black dots marring its skin. You would've flinched at it where it not for the way Taehyung's eyes lit up when he saw the amphibian.
"That's the poison dart frog." He states, eyes not even once faltering.
"Ah, it looks slimy." You state.
"It is, doesn't it? But I find it so beautiful. It comes in different colors. But don't let it fool you though. They release toxins called batrachotoxins."
He pauses and you take the time to let him gather his thoughts.
"The more brightly colored they are, the more poisonous they become." He says as he finally turns towards you and gave out that box-shaped smile of his.
With just that smile, with just a simple gesture, you find yourself robbed of all oxygen. He does always had that effect on you. He has the power to kick you off your pedestal just when you thought you were standing on stable grounds.
"Ah, of course. The more beautiful it is, the more dangerous it becomes." You state, your eyes never leaving his.
