She was never close to her father. It was impossible to be when he was barely home, instead when she turned twelve, she was handed over to her aunt in Korea for her education before being brought back to China which is why she is familiar with certain parts of the country. Knowing that one day, he may force her to take over the company, she avoids any and all meetings with her father at all costs by constantly setting up other appointments on those dates or running away for the day.
