I think it's a good bye to the old big bang, and their youth as well. I think that this is just telling us that big bang is different. We can mourn the old big bang, but happier times are coming. And just because it's different doesn't mean it's sad.

((Ooc post and I’m not into Kpop anymore but can we just talk about how FUCKING PRETTY Taeyang looks in the new MV?!?!))

I will ALWAYS be VIP. I cried when I watched the Still Life MV and MV reaction by the juniors.

I am late but I don’t follow K-POP like I used to, but it was a huge part of my life and got me through some of the darkest times in my life too. Especially Big Bang. I fell in love with them in 2006 after DB5K and Super Junior got me interested in K-pop. My adolescent to college years were carried by BB. When I went through my suicidal phase in college, BB music got me through it. That’s why my first tattoo I got in 2011 was “Until Whenever” (with “Trust Your Struggle”)

2011 was not only rough for me, but Big Bang went through a lot that year too. It was, in my mind, a sign of solidarity with them. They got me through my dark period, I will always be there for theirs.

As I got older, responsibilities grew, and K-POP blew up. So many new groups and I couldn’t keep up. But I kept tabs on YG Family (Despite the company itself, I Stan all the artists) and when everyone left for military services and Seungri’s scandal I honestly thought that could have been it.

But I cried watching that MV. All the nostalgia, flash backs, the lyrics, and feelings…was overwhelming. I haven’t been on tumblr in forever but this was the platform and community who freaked and geeked out with me about Koop. My safe haven.

Idk where I’m going with this honestly but I just hope the boys are proud, doing well, and will always remember we VIP will ALWAYS have their back. UNTIL WHENEVER!
