Whenever I listen to this track I think back to a particularly happy time. It was the summertime, it was warm, and I was seeing Skrillex with my best friend. She and I had departed from the rest of our friends to get air and water. We lay in the grass and admired the crowd from afar, until this song started. We got up, grabbed one another's hands, and into the core of people, sounds, and lights we went. I remember the sound of the music, the smell of summer and sweat. the taste of dirt, and the feeling of her hand.
From that night forward, Summit has represented a beautiful moment in a beautiful friendship for me. Every listen brings be back do that dirty summer night and the warmth it brought me.
