Sharks, without a doubt, are a strange topic for me. Jaws was popular when I was kid--I didn’t, and still won’t--see it. Shark Week is a week (plus the weeks prior!) of watery-death-hell that I avoid.

That said... I still plan on scuba diving (even, or maybe especially, in places with sharks) and I would, at one point, like to see sharks from a shark cage. I don’t know what that says about me, but, well, I still found the story of the Indianapolis fascinating and awful and unbelievable and scary.
