here’s a bomb that snortsnet just dropped that i have never heard: Tanger’s glove says Legend where usually the players name is displayed, because Geno used to call Tanger that when Tanger first came to the Pens, and Tanger let it go until he finally asked him, what are you calling me, and Geno says, Legend, you’re a Legend. Tanger liked it, let it go, but Geno took it further and went to the Warrior equipment guys and had them plaster that name all over everything, gloves, sticks and so on… and Tanger liked it and it stayed.
