day 3 of pheonix fan fusion: dwight fairfield again

plus i went to the arcade afterwards and spent so much time and credits playing the lockpicking skill check game

i had soso much fun. its an absolute shame i didnt get to get photos with everyone because there were so many cool cosplayers including, but not limited to 2 other dwights, a jake, another hunk, 4 more leons, 3 adas, another clair, at least 1 springtrap, at least 2 ghosties, a bubba, another amanda/the pig, and 2 pyramid heads (also god i wish i found a ghostie on either of my dwight days who played dbd bc i really wanted to recreate the mori photo aaaaaaaAAAAAAAAA)

i was genuinely not expecting to get recognized as much as i did. its always so cool to see other people who care about my silly games as much as i do. i unfortunately couldnt get photos w the huntress, 3 seperate ghostfaces, 4 pyramid heads, and at least 2 springtraps i saw but i did definitely wave to everybody and let them know how cool you all were

i hope to be able to visit and attend another con there again soon!!

i love that scout sunday is lowkey becoming a tradition for me. i love being just a little bit obnoxious bc its not often that i feel as confident and comfortable improving for the "play" part of cosPLAY

i made a new friend- soldier (sexyleonkennedy from instagram). a looot of people also seemed really excited to see us so im gonna attemt to host something along the lines of a photo meet up or panel at a future event

humans are so lucky and privileged to be able to have creativity and create art. a shame more and more people are choosing to let ai/robot rob them the joy of creating

One of the great joys of the 21st century is being able to experience bad photoshop jobs and grainy gifs and doodle memes that are a little scuffed.

Being able to make ytps and eye bleeding-ly tacky graphics and tf2 g-mod animations. It’s not a dying art, but it’s sad to see people choosing to make ai generated “perfection” instead of making something that will be cherished for how crusty it is.

I still don’t like using Blender, but there’s something insanely satisfying about bringing my designs to life. Even if I don’t know how to rig for animation and there’s an easier way to do what I’m doing.

i was warching a video by a trans woman talking about some small internet horror series. at some point she goes "i don't want to force my reading on people and umm idk maybe i'm grasping at straws but i think the protagonist might be trans? again maybe i'm wrong and don't know anything" and like the series in question has a scene where the protagonist walks into a room with her family in it who then immediately begin to argue about her gender and misgender her aggressively, while something that can only described as a dysphoria homunculus sits curled up in the corner. She then walks in front of a mirror and her reflection is said dysphoria homunculus.

like there's a man out there who made a career out of going "is animal crossing actually about being in a cult?" or "these three pixels on freddy fviebears balls look a little off. this proves that sans is purple guy" and we have trans women who are scared of analysing the world's most obvious transgender trauma scene
