Thinking about how flowerys fake stats thing could easily be a projection onto the Player. All these stats are fake, all of these stats are meaningless. Why NOT set all of our stats to 999 and just get this over with? Well thats because most of us arent flowerys, we're ralsei. We look at these fake stats and go "They matter to me because I want them to matter to me, because I want the story to matter to me" because it keeps us away from the bad that is de-immersion.
And if we REALLY wanted to, we could kill anyone, we could mod a random weapon that triggers the enemy death flags and go ham, just like ralsei can just burn people if he wanted. but we dont, for the reasons flowery says, we want to see if he CAN beat us, and if we can him, if either of us can break the prophecy.
the amount of times i have almost SOBBED over the ending of deltarune chapter 5 when kris walks susie "home" (to the closet of school) is actually fucking crazy it's fucking me up so bad
Choke. Just think about it, seriously. Think about what choking is and imagine speaking while it’s happening. That would fuckin’ hurt, man.
Hiss. Look, it’s just not possible, okay? No matter how “evil” you want your character to seem.
Snarl. Animals snarls. The Beast from Beauty and the Beast snarls. The Hulk snarls. You know who doesn’t snarl? PEOPLE WHEN THEY’RE SPEAKING.
Shriek. Come on, 99% of the time, “shriek” is not the word you want.Let’s face it: if you put an exclamation point at the end of the sentence, your reader gets the picture. Don’t bring to mind banshees and screaming toddlers.
Sneer. I’m not even going to bother explaining this one. “SNEER” ISN’T EVEN A SOUND.
Choked is not meant to be taken literally, an obstruction in the throat. It means they’re having difficultly speaking, they’re forcing the words out with difficulty. Often used when the character is convulsed in tears or laughter.
Hiss is a low, threatening whisper. Raw, guttural, vicious. It is NOT a literal hiss like an animal, it is a tone of voice that serves the same function. Someone will hiss that they’re going to cut your throat- a message from one person to the other.
Snarl is the same kind of thing. Not literal, it’s a tone of voice that serves the same function. It’s raw and gutteral like a hiss, but more savage than vicious. It’s loud, it’s showy, it’s intimidating. It’s very alpha male, big man, look at how fucking dangerous I am. I’ll take ALL of you on. Even if they’re snarling at one person in particular, nobody better back them up or they’re gonna get fucked up too.
Shriek. Come on, seriously? We’ve all heard people shriek either in fear or outrage. High pitched, loud, out of control, feminine. Men can shriek, but it’s funny and emasculating. Think angry italian women throwing pots and pans or ladies on tables who just saw a mouse.
Sneering is contempt whether it’s a facial expression or a tone of voice or both. There are a hundred different ways to sneer with your voice, but it all adds up to the same thing.
are there seriously people saying ch5 was boring because it "didn't have enough loredrops"? im sorry but what do you want out of deltarune if not interesting characters.......... do you only care about mysteries without drama? anything meaningful to attach it to? do you just want the endorphin surge of putting a puzzle together or do you want a story
important reminder that most people you follow online are significantly lamer than you think they are including me. and if you feel insecure comparing yourself to someone online: DON'T. theyre probably also lame and weird. most people on the internet are
y'all really weren't kidding with "the biggest indicator of ralsei being transfem is how hard ppl are angrily trying to disprove it" oh my god the shit i've seen this past week 😭
im still confused about how kris made a deal with seth before going into the dark world with susie. like. did kris talk to seth when seth was a flower? if so how did kris know seth would want berdly’s feather? did kris just pop into the dark world real quick and have a conversation before leaving? how did they get out so quickly? like wgat
You can see Kris doing the same in chapter 2 ending, they stand in front of Tenna talking to him.
They probably talked to Seth while the fountain was forming, or right after it formed
And they didn't know what Seth wanted out of the deal, Seth says "I want.. That!" And points to the feather. They just chose something on Kris's person! Kris just happened to have the feather on them already (maybe for gay reasons)
In the wake of the TADC finale and Deltarune CH 5 I've noticed something when it comes to queer headcanons, specifically trans headcanons, and how they're treated by fandom.
It feels like we've been conditioned to never expect to see transition represented in media. If a trans character exists, they have to already be referred to as the gender they identify as to be accepted as a canon trans character.
Jax TADC isn't referred to with she / her pronouns until the very end of the show, and despite the very explicit allusions to her gender identity people STILL debated whether she was actually transfem until the creator of the show confirmed it. Because no way, right? It's only a theory, a headcanon until the character holds up a sign that says "I'M TRANSGENDER DESPITE HOW I WAS REFERRED TO THIS ENTIRE TIME"
Transfem Ralsei is getting the same treatment. Right now it's just a theory, but the theory gets brushed off as a headcanon. Or silly. Or impossible. Despite there being a handful of other transgender characters in both Undertale and Deltarune, people cannot accept Transfem Ralsei? Why?
"There's no way Toby would have a character transition in the game"
He's already done this. Actually he did this twice with the same character! Mad Dummy in both games transitions to being an anime girl! In fact, Pink is strong evidence of Transfem Ralsei theory!
"Well it's removing gnc male representation!"
As if Ralsei is the only example of this? We've had Mettaton for a decade! Blue was just introduced too! Ralsei transitioning does not kill the representation for that demographic!
Flowery literally calls Ralsei Princess!!!! While telling them to do what makes them happy!! We have a transfem secret boss!!! They're referred to with they/them towards the end of the chapter!!
The character does not have to say "I'm trans" to the camera for them to BE CANON!
I'm not saying it's 100% I'm just so so tired of seeing this. Of trans theories being shut down. Now more than ever we should be WANTING THIS! WE SHOULD BE CELEBRATING TRANS CHARACTERS! WHY ARE WE REFUSING THEM?
The subculture and identity (like amatopunk, for example) that staunchly rejects, fights against, and directly opposes exorsexism and binarism. It's about redefining gender, abolishing the sex and gender arities, and being loudly supportive of nonbinarity. It is for nonbinary and anonbinary folks, but it is not exclusive to them; in fact, it is encouraged that binary people be exorpunk.
Some other topics exorpunk is about:
Recognizing gender, especially nonbinarity, as a spectrum
Rejecting bioessentialism, gender essentialism, and the idea that male and female/masculinity and femininity are opposities
Rejecting transmedicalism, truscum, and embracing the many ways of transitioning as a nonbinary person
Opposing the idea that gender qualities (such as masculinity, femininity, neutrality, etc) go hand-in-hand with gender, as this is used to uphold the western binary
Abolishing exorsexism, binarism, gender arity, and sex arity
Opposing labels that sort people into gender arities, as well as the people who sort us
Not only adopting, but popularizing, nonbinary (societal-wise and gender-wise) and neutral alternatives to binary sayings and labels
Uplifting and learning about the (gender) identities of POC which don't fit into the western binary
Fighting colonialist and western ideas of queerness and gender, especially when they're pushed onto marginalized cultures and awestern identities
Uplifting intersex people, who are often the targets of exorsexism (alongside intersexism, of course)
Supporting nonbinary people, encouraging them to be loud about their identity
Flag meaning:
Black: Lives lost due to transphobia, exorsexism, binarism, and intersexism; the struggles that those outside of gender and sex arity face
Blue: Activism, education, and freedom
Green: Awestern gender identities and gender identities of poc that dont fall under the western binary
Deep Yellow: Joy, encouragement, positivity; intersexness and allyship towards intersex people
White: A color often used in flags to represent nonbinarity and community alike
Symbols are self-explanatory.
Here are alternative flags for those who focus on how exorsexism affects intersex people and POC/awestern folks. The exorpunk flag is already inclusive of them, so this isn't to single them out. Instead, it's for those who want to highlight the fact they combat these sides of the issue. I am white and perisex, but I had my intersex and POC friends give input on these.

Glossary:
Anonbinary: "A gender that definitely isn’t binary, but is still even outside of nonbinary." source (link)
Awestern: Identities that are completely outside of the western concepts/understandings of binary and queer. Could also be identities that predate western influence and colonialism and the ideals that came along with that (coined by Glinda of @emailmeurheart on Discord, so no source.)
Binarism: I cannot find a good source on the definition I'm using. However, binarism generally refers to the western binary being enforced on colonialized peoples and awestern individuals.
Exorsexism: "Discrimination against non-binary, intersex, and altersex individuals, as well as against individuals with gender modalities other than cis and trans." source (link)
Gender arity: "It categorizes gender [systems] based on the number of established/existing gender categories within one's experience or within a given culture. The most well known gender arity is the Western gender binary." source (link)
