I’m asking everyone about their plans because I want to make use of these special times we’re in and I’m so curious what intentions you have.
Just a reminder that this full moon next week (Jan 20th) isn’t just any regular full moon and if you’re planning any ritual it’s absolutely the best time to do that. Cleanse stuff, write your sigils, charge your moon water, your crystals, write your petition, ANYTHING you plan on doing, I feel like you’ll be doing it with manifestation power that will be amplified at least 5x, so whatever your intent is, make it authentic, true to yourself and be absolutely certain it’s what you want.
1. Not only will we be having a super blood wolf moon (sounds like a Twilight Saga fic, but really it just means that we’re having our first full moon of the year which also happens to be a total lunar eclipse and at its closest in its orbit to Earth. so, super amplified moon magic here, ladies)
2. it’s happening when many planets are making rare transits/aspects we don’t usually get to witness. Right now we have not one, not two, not three but FOUR planets in their home signs! planets in their home signs are like…themselves but on steroids. They’re in their strongest essential dignities. Their respective strengths/weaknesses are super-effective! More on these, if you’re into adding some astrology to your witchcraft:
We’ve got Jupiter in Sagittarius (conj. Venus!), Saturn in Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Aries. And not only that, but we have Jupiter (& Venus) squaring Neptune, Mars squaring Saturn, and Saturn sextiling Neptune! This is like a manifestation orgy just waiting to happen. Literally, waiting for your intention to be put into action. (I choose to view squares positively as an opportunity for you to boost your growth, not as blockages, but to each their own)
♆ ♓ Neptune in Pisces is amplified vision: Take this opportunity to envision exactly what it is you want or need. Design a sigil for it and get creative (the full moon will be entering Leo and Leo’s all about creativity). Take time to really examine it and maybe do some shadow work and journaling to be more mindful of the subconscious reasons behind this need/desire and that may lead you to a “root desire” that is more powerful and much more gratifying for you to meet. Then, because it’s Pisces we’re talking about, place your faith in the divine in you (or your personal deities, guides or wherever else you see divinity) that whatever happens will happen in the interest of your growth.
♃ ♐ Jupiter in Sagittarius is amplified expansion: Jupiter expands whatever house it’s in so check your transit chart and ask to receive more of what you want there. Even though it’s about receiving MORE, it could be more of things you don’t actually want or are ready for, but we’ve got synergy from the Venus conjunction here and that may mean more what of you truly value and find beauty in, whether material (finances) or interpersonal (relationships). So make sure you really are prepared for quick expansion, whether that’s moving, getting a new job, changing relationships through evolving them or ending them altogether. whatever is it, it’s going to come to you in HEAPS so be ready to receive.
♄ ♑ Saturn in Capricorn is amplified grounding: it basically takes the expansion that Jupiter brings in and cements it into your everyday life. it’s groundwork. It’s laying the bricks of the life you want one by one, as perfectly as you want them. so take this opportunity to really delve into how you want your ideal day to be. what you do on a daily basis. Stop wasting your time doing things you’re “meh” about and bring in more daily habits that are related to your personal vision and/or put this intention into daily habits you already have: some moon water in your morning coffee/tea, meditation during your daily commute (if you’re not driving), cleansing in the shower with salt scrubs and oils you’ve made with your own magic :D my favorite twofer. With the Neptune sextile, I feel meditation and mindfulness will some easily to you in everything you do here once you’ve set your vision (better yet, a vision board).
♂ ♈ Mars in Aries is amplified action: It’s almost aggressive pursuit. The determined go-getter mentality, only it’s directed by everything you’ve set through the above, toward your deepest desires and highest growth. So light your most powerful candles, activate your most powerful sigils, cast your most powerful spells and, for those more responsible witches who aren’t as squeamish, maybe even incorporate some blood magic to go with that blood red moon and fiery mars/aries energy. (I mean your own menstrual blood, not animal sacrifice. Just a personal view, but the latter isn’t given willingly so I don’t believe it’d have any positive power if at all and I don’t want vibrations of fear or desperation in my ritual. and it’s just plain cruel. religions can have their ritual sacrifices, I’ll stick to my diva cup tyvm)
So there’s this big giant moon there, which is all about inner work, supported by all these beautifully aligned transits, and Mercury and Pluto will also be in Capricorn and Uranus (the planet of drastic change) is out of its 5-month funk retrograde and is now direct in Aries. I HAVE THE TINGLES.
