Idk if you watch Gravity Falls but your Happy(er) AU Evan gives me a lot of Dipper Pines vibes. (And Elizabeth gives Mabel vibes, tho to a lesser extent.)

Are each of them aware of all the haunted animatronic stuff? Or is Evan the only one suspicious?

I ask because the Gravity Falls vibes have me imagining a scenario where Micheal (in Grunkle Stan fashion) is very aware of that the spooky stuff is real but tells Evan it’s just imaginary folklore mumbo-jumbo while Evan tries to investigate it and prove it’s real, thinking that Mike just does not believe him.

YEAH!! i completely agree w the dipper-evan comparison, they definitely both have the paranoid conspiracy theorist vibe loll

also the idea of Michael hiding the truth from his siblings is 100% canon, i'd imagine he was old (and smart) enough when the original kids went missing that he'd put two and two together and figure out what happened, but both Evan and Liz would be way too young to probably even remember it

he would def try and play it off as some urban legend bc he wouldn't want his siblings to look too deep into it and be in danger :'(
