Potentially being median is probably one of the loneliest things ive experienced through the years.

In a way you aren't "plural enough." You're less distinct than others to the point you question your validity, and at times wonder if you're no more than a singlet "acting plural" for some beneficial reason even if theres no one to see.

For me, it's been lonely in the way I'm unable to relate to other plural folk. They speak of separate interests, separate lives, in-depth relationships. Meanwhile with me (us?) We all have similar if not the same interests, we all live the same lives and feel the same things. Our relationships aren't complex, and a lot of the time our thoughts clog up and cause thinking to be hard. I constantly worry if we're real.. if /im/ real yk? Am I just some guy subconsciously faking? Am I someone craving attention and validation on the internet? Am I only harming others by writing and drawing about my experiences as potentially being median?

Ahhh.. I dont know. I know plurality is different for everyone, but it feels weird to not be """""normal""""" aside from maybe feeling out of it most of the time. This isnt me being envious or wanting my life to be worse!!! I just wish it was all a bit easier.

If the day ever comes that I fully realize Im not plural and its confirmed.. idk what id do w this blog. Probably delete it? Idk.

we've been getting some questions about this quiz! the primary one we'll answer here is "these questions feel normal, why do they prove you're plural?"

the idea behind this quiz is pretty much exactly that. these are all fairly normal symptoms. on their own, none of these are a sign of plurality.

however, they start to become a sign of something more when there's a large percentage answered "yes"! all diagnoses are collections of symptoms, that was the core idea behind this :) we sent this to several singlets to make sure it worked, and every time, singlets got a significantly lower score than systems!

a lot of plural quizzes have confusing, vague questions that are really hard to answer when you have, y'know. a disorder that causes memory issues. so we wanted to help that by making the questions as simple and, like, normal as possible. that's why we say that systems(not all, but many) usually get a score of about 60% ^^

of course, there is overlap with other disorders that cause disassociation, we are 100% aware of that. like we said, this isn't a diagnosis!! 🫶🫶

also, not all systems will get 60% or more! it depends wholly on who you are :) this quiz was based off of ourself and the people around us/online, we didn't really do a lot of intensive outreach because we honestly didn't think it would get as big as it did </3 everyone is different! just because your symptoms aren't the same as everyone else's doesn't make you more or less valid.

Some reminders incase you've forgotten...

★ Every System is UNIQUE

No two systems have to be the same or WILL be the same. Plurality is a huge spectrum like many other things and will forever be beautiful no matter how it is experienced.

★ There is NO Correct Way To Be A System

No matter how you're a system, or what you do as a system, there is no one correct way to be a system. Ramble about your alters, list all of your fictives and display your system members if that makes you happy. No one can dictate what is and isn't the correct way of being a system.

★ All Origins are VALID

No matter how your system or alters formed, you are valid. You split from trauma? Your trauma is valid and you will be able to work through it. You willed your system? That's awesome! Happy you choose that. You split from stress? It'll be okay. No matter how your system formed, it'll be valid no matter what. We can not stress this enough that all plurality is beautiful and valid! And it's important to acknowledge this no matter how you became a system.
