do not lower your standards, you deserve good things.

I am ready to be loved wholeheartedly.

Is it paranoia or is it the gut instinct that you should listen to?

Honesty is always the best policy.

I am so proud of this being a core value of mine and on top of being honest.. I am also understanding.

Which is why it hurts so much to be lied.

There is no reason to lie, to disrespect me, and to treat me as if I’m too stupid to know better.

A huge chunk of me was molded and created in my 20s.

I am me because of you.

You will always be a part of me.

Those years built me to who I am.

What I believe.

What I want.

Fight for who you want in your life.

It’s that simple.

Trust and honesty is vital for growth.

No matter how much it hurts.

Be open to rejection and boundary setting in order to grow through the tough times together.

It’s easier to be comfortable and be truly open with another when you know that tension will not cause any trouble because you both have security there. That you have the space to say no. This is where compromises and growth happens. This is where you get the most out of each other. This is where being an equal partner comes in.

True intimacy forms when nothing is perfect. You face the struggles together. You grow together through the good and the bad.
