“Trust me, I can babble. I try not to… But sometimes it’s really hard to keep my mouth shut.” Amelia gave a small smile. “But you seem really… Familiar too. Along with nice and… Other characteristics. I just I feel like I know you but then again I feel like I say that about a lot of people nowadays.” She waved her hand dismissively, “So. About that date?”
"You? Babble? Nooo." He said sarcastically. I would have never thought in a million years. No really it's fine. I want to say me to I do remember the babbling of someone who look kind of like you. Though it's all really a bit vague really." he had said unsure. "Oh um sure is this part of it or what do i do?"He was a bit lost.

“Some place cold? I don’t know, you seem like you prefer mild summers, and this place generally qualifies.”
“Well yes I do come from somewhere it snows at least from what bits I remember.Light summers yes.”

“I don’t know…” Amelia shrugged. “There’s just… Something about you.” She waved her hand dismissively, “But I’ve been saying that about a lot of things recently. Like there’s something about the clocktower moving, something about the way this hot chocolate taste so when I’m with you.” The red head blushed, “I’d actually love to go out with you. Not just for practice either.”
“Really I do seem like a interesting person. Well that’s odd. I suppose you seem nice. You do seem like nice person well more then nice. Some one I wouldn’t mind being with. I mean well being with as in wait I might or may nor be babbling.Though you do seem really nice then. I don’t if nice is absolutley everything then”

“Today is the day Emma and Neal are moving in to my loft. We’re gonna be roommates.”
“So who would Emma and Neal be I am a bit lost.”
“I am not laughing. Well not at you. Ok maybe I am. It is just wellI can not help but laugh.”
“Always have lived in Storybrooke.” For at least as far back as his false memories told him which was about all he should rely on while at Granny’s. It had only been since the yellow bug had rolled into town that he’d been getting out of the house however.
“Is that so really? Well your probably not interested in what I have to say. I think I have pretty much always lived here. Well maybe not I just don’t know where it would have been.”
“It’s moving day! This is exciting!”
“Moving day? Is it really? What does that mean?”

“I rather continue talking about you.” He had said blushing. “No is there anything wrong with that. I don’t really see anything wrong there.” He had said quite embarrassed looking up at her. “Really I am fine without anyone.” He had said unsure and soft spoken. He looked up at her.”Why do you care so much?”
“Well… That makes two of us because…” Amelia leaned forward as if to tell a secret. “I like talking to you too.” She waved her hand dismissively, “Oh nonsense! You can’t be fine without anyone in your life? I mean d-doesn’t that get lonely? Who else is going to listen about the weird day you had if you don’t have someone to share it with.” Amelia shrugged, why did she care? The only thing that could explain it was the fact she felt something for him.
“Alright. I’m about to change your life.” She took a sip of her drink and puffed out her chest with a grin. “Ask me out.”
“For practice… Of course.”
“Ask you out?” he said pausing. “But um why? It’s not that bad I mean not really.” He had said looking up at Amelia. “Ok Would you go out with me?” He said with the words ran together?” He then looked up. “You no you could say no this is practice after all and well I don’t know if I would really ask anyone out. He had said as he looked up at Amelia. “But um why? Why do you want me to ask you. I don’t get it Amelia. Amelia was it. Yeah I don’t get it.”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. Y-you’ve never been on a date?” She asked. “But… Well… Why not? I mean surely a good looking guy like you can definitely find a gal worth fighting for!” Amelia blushed at her outburst. “A fulfilling marriage has always been a dream of mine. But enough about me, onto you. Do you even know how to ask someone out on a date?”

“One day, I’m going to buy you a set of pain brushes and you’ll see just how meaningful paint blobs can be!” Amelia exclaimed. She thanked her waitress and took a sip of her own hot chocolate as she listened to Christopher. She shrugged, “I guess you marry out of fear? Who wants to end up alone? You know what I mean. I would hate to be seventy and looking at all the puppies I own instead of my dashing significant other.” She tapped her chin, “Then again… Now that I think of it… I’d hate to be in a loveless marriage.” The red head nodded, “Everything is fine now and yes. I do date if I find a guy… Dateable enough.” She blushed a light pink, clearing her throat. “And you? Do you believe in love and dating?”
Christopher looked up at Amelia. “Well maybe it is I still don’t see anything big about it.I mean couldn’t you just do that with a spoon or toothbrush. Anyways yes I um well guess I do. I just haven’t for well like ever actually. I haven’t really ever had a date.” He said looking around up at Amelia. “I don’t think I ever been on one actually.Well puppies aren’t bad. A loveless marriage isn’t the best I mean a marriage with love is hard to have as it is.”
“No that’s not exactly what I said can you hear with those braids covering your ears or are you ninety?”
“If I were ninety, I look pretty good for a ninety year old, am I right?”
“Well yes I would guess so,you know I was just saying it because well it seemed true.”

“Dogs and elephants are very intelligent creatures!” Amelia chuckled, “You can like whomever you want. I mean it is a new century, right?” She paused, trying to think of the exact reasons why she’d marry someone after the first date. “I don’t know… He wasn’t terrible looking. I guess when you’re living in a small town like this one, you just want to find the one.” She rested her chin on her hands and sighed, “The one who’d accept you for all your flaws and would totally make a snow man with you when there are blizzard conditions out. You get it?”
She waved her hand over for the waitress and ordered herself a hot chocolate, “I hope you don’t mind my joining you and if you do… Then… My bad?”
“I guess maybe they are. I just don’t see anything to special about these paintings here. It may just be me but I really see blobs here and that’s it.” He looked up at her looking up at Amelia. “I suppose maybe yes I don’t know.” He said pausing sipping his cocoa biting his carrot. “So you really just cam close to marrying a guy and you didn’t why?Why didn’t you continue with it and just marry him. Maybe you realized you didn’t really love him but what made you change your mind? He said with a full mouth.”Is everything ok now I mean.” He looked up at her. “I mean have you gone back to dating?” He asked looking up at her and blushing. There was something he liked about her and he did not know what. He looked up with a small smile. “I mean why marry someone you don’t love. I can’t grasp it.”

Amelia held her heavy bag filled with student projects and juggled the massive piles of student’s analysis on Jackson Pollack. She wasn’t sure why or how anyone could grade a student’s interpretation of art but a grade somehow had to be given. She promised to meet up wit Jim, the school’s gym teacher, after school that day so he could help her look over the student’s work. At least that’s what she thought their meeting was about. Upon opening granny’s diner, the red head searched the place before finding a familiar path of brown hair.
She smiled as she made her way over to the booth and plopped all her belongings down, “Oh man you will not believe the crazy day I was having!” Amelia exclaimed as she spread the artwork around. “These kids are so refreshing to have around! The way they see the world, the way they envision, and the way they create their pieces is just beautiful! I-I mean look at this one.” She pointed at one of the art pieces, “Look at the colors and the swirls! It’s just… Amazing.” Amelia looked up and felt her cheeks tint a bright red.
This wasn’t Jim.
“W-wow. Th-this is embarrassing.” She stated. “I mean not as embarrassing as the time one student got blue paint and glitter andglue in his hair. I mean that was a hard one to explain to his parents… Or the time I thought I was ready to marry some dude after the first date… But this is up there for sure.” Amelia felt her heart tug, as if there were something familiar with the face before her. She couldn’t quite shrug it off. “I-I’m sorry for intruding on you like this…” Amelia apologized. Yet, she couldn’t quite shake this feeling off her. She gathered her things in a hurry but quickly turned to him, “And just… Have we met before?”
Christopher looked up as he was there sitting on the long chair inside the diner. He was there drinking his cocoa with cream and a slice carrot. He had goofed off putting the carrot in the cocoa stirring. He then bit the carrot as the lady had made her way sitting down just about talking non stop. He then looked up. “Wait you were going to get married after one date. Why would you do something as silly as that.” He had said as he looked up the redhead.
He had seen she had scattered all of these paintings with a whole bunch of spatters on them. “Who did this a dog or maybe and elephant.” He had said looking up at Amelia. He had no idea of what there was to say. The paintings were ok but why was she so fascinated by them.”I guess I understand why you think these are ok I guess.” He had said looking up at her. “Still really after the first date he had better been a hunk of a guy, I mean well never mind that’s not what I met I um like girls.” He said softly with his voce choking up.
“I-I’m sorry what was that? It sounded like you were this close to saying I can’t eat two muffins. Or something like that.”
“No that’s not exactly what I said can you hear with those braids covering your ears or are you ninety?”
wealwaysfindeachother:
“I’m inclined to think it’s good. Emma came to town and she’s wonderful. Have you met her yet?”
“No I am not to sure I have actually.” He had said softly.”Who is Emma anyway?I should ask who are you.”

The day was one normal as the usual. Christopher had stepped away from his small living home and made his way into town. Christopher had made his way heading to the diner for a cocoa and a chocolate mud pie. That day Christopher was delighted. He had felt something was missing. He did not know what that was. He looked around confused and just knowing to start has day as normal. Christopher made his way walking into the diner off to get something to eat. He was one who was happy with simple things. He had know idea of what exactly was on his mind but that didn’t matter. Christopher had just decided to make his way into the diner and take a seat. He was then ready to order his food when oddly interrupted.
Kathryn reenacted the same basic routine for as long as she could remember this past month, the mere idea of repeating it again becoming both repulsive and unattractive. She had always gone to the same places, rotated through the same foods, and communicated with the same people; the blonde wanted to branch out. “I don’t think we’ve met before, I’m Kathryn.” she smiled, not realizing that she was interrupting his order. “I have a proposition for you. I buy you a meal, and you tell me about your typical day. I’ve had a hell of a few days this past month and I desperately need to escape my life.”
“Really well I could never say no to a meal. I am tempted to ask why but I am thinking maybe I shouldn’t. He said squinting his eyes unsure of what exactly to say as he looked up at her. “The sam thing really living above the stables and taking caring of the farm life s usual. Kathryn it’s nice to meet you.” He had said with a small smile looking up at her. “Food not too sure what I would want. I don’t think I have an idea maybe buttermilk pancakes possibly.” He said again with a small nod.
