I'm getting married!!

I've loved reading about all of you guys who just got to Korea in the last few days. I mentioned watching some of y'alls videos and my boyfriend asked me if I was sad that I wasn't there.

I had to think about it. Do I wish I was in Korea experiencing new things and meeting new people? Yes, but I also love how my life is going right now. Part of me wishes EPIK never turned me down, but maybe that's not how my life was supposed to go. Instead I was meant to stay here and get my big girl job and enjoy life in Texas. 

I still love Korea and a big part of me wants to make it over there sometime soon. Maybe a trip over there will cure the twinge of regret I have about not applying again. We shall see..

For my upcoming study abroad trip to London (for my library science master's program) we are supposed to write a daily blog. I need some help coming up with a good name.

Life Update

Hey Guys! I'm still alive. I know I've been m.i.a. lately, but I've had a lot going on and I've made some big life decisions.

My biggest news is that I have officially put my Korea plans on hold. I know I had told y'all I was going to pursue GEPIK after EPIK fell through but in the midst of preparing for that I got offered a big girl job here in the states. It was one of the hardest decisions I've made but I think it will be for the best. Don't get me wrong I will make it to Korea one day! When all of my tumblr-korea girls get there I might have to come for a visit!! 

Also, I'm leaving to for London the first week of July, so I will get some adventure (even if it's only for three weeks).

I just wanted to thank all of my friends on here who have really supported me through my ups and down in this last crazy six months, especially shimmeringseoul, nikkotravels, untilthenworld, wanderlusttour, and theflyingnah. You guys better keep me updated and think of me when you're eating kimchi and getting lost on the subway!

Done with my last assignment of the semester!

After my three weeks in London studying abroad this summer I will officially be a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies.

i noticed in your entry on the 8th you wrote 'I really don’t know anything I could have done differently.' I believe you really did you your best, and surely your journey is just beginning!meanwhile i'm still in the process of applying!FIGHTING!!!

I'll never really know what went wrong. I just have to have faith that this happened for a reason and something better might be right around the corner.

Hey there! I know this is probably not very helpful, but I didn't pass my EPIK interview either =[ I felt like it didn't go well when the call ended, but I had hope that maybe it would work out. Obviously it did not. I was feeling pretty down about it, even though I kind of expected it. When I saw that you did not pass your interview, I was blown away. You are so so so qualified. Maybe we had the same interviewer? I'm sorry that you didn't pass; it's a really awful feeling =[

I know how you feel! Nothing went wrong, but after my interview I just had this disappointing feeling. My interviewer was Jeffrey. Is that who you had? 

And even though I didn't pass with EPIK I know there are still other opportunities for me out there. Fighting!
