Haters gonna hate
I’m just gonna dissociate
just neurodivergent things: when you can’t describe your symptoms when you’re not experiencing them because you forget what they feel like and you feel like a faker, BUT you also can’t talk about them when you ARE symptomatic either because you’re way too depressed/anxious/etc.
Recovery in mental health problems nobody talks about:
* Questioning diagnoses/ diagnosis
* questioning if you need medication
* Family/friends putting more pressure on you to not relapse
* people being disappointed or angry when you do relapse
* Taking on more than you can handle because you feel okay
* wishing you could do more than you know you can
* feeling embarrassed about your illness or disability
* You’re okay on the outside, but people don’t understand why you can’t work or take many courses in a college in a semester
* people think you’re faking it because you don’t show bad symptoms
* people trying to talk you out of taking your medication(s)
I switch so quickly so aggressively that it makes me want to puke
