Hi!

Ich bin aktuell mitten im Violetbuch und liebe es! Nun liegt mir meine Mutter aber bereits in den Ohren, wann es das Hörbuch dazu gibt, weil sie es gerne bei der Gartenarbeit hören würde, wie die anderen Bücher aus dem Monauniversum auch.

Nun ja, aus unerfindlichen Gründen kommt sie mit der tolino-App nicht klar. Daher die Frage: Wird es das Violet-Hörbuch auch bei Audible geben? Mir sind die Probleme mit den neuen Verträgen bekannt und ich würde voll und ganz verstehen, wenn das Hörbuch dort nicht veröffentlicht wird. Wollte trotzdem kurz nachfragen.

also Probleme gibt es da gar keine, ich hab auch keine neuen Verträge oder so. Ich bin ja schon ewig beim YUNA Verlag. 😅 Also keine Sorge! Wie für all meine Bücher gibt es wieder ein Hörbuch, das ist auch schon überall verfügbar. Audibles System hat zwar noch bissi Schluckauf, aber da sollte es auch bald erhältlich sein. 👀

An dem Buchprojekt ist nichts anders oder so. Das ist wie MONA, BORIS und ATLAS bei YUNA unter Penguin Random House rausgekommen. 💜 Also weit gestreut und überall verfügbar, als Softcover, eBook und Hörbuch.

Ich hab noch eine Frage. 🫠 Zum einschlafen hab ich in letzter Zeit die Hörbücher deiner Bücher gehört (momentan bin ich beim Atlas des Äthers) 😊 ich hab das so toll gefunden wie du die Mona Bücher gelesen hast. Auch in den Streams liebe ich das, wenn du uns vorliest. Leider hab ich das in letzter Zeit immer verpasst, wenn du mal gelesen hast, aber bei Mona und 1000 Fragen etc. damals habe ich jeden Stream nur so aufgesogen. Kannst du dir vorstellen, das bei irgendeinem deiner Bücher wieder zu machen oder gibst du das lieber an "professionelle" Personen ab?

Also ich bin ja tatsächlich auch Sprecher und mach das deshalb auch sehr gerne. Nur muss der Stimmbruch erstmal durch sein. 🫠

Aber die ersten Kapitel von VIOLET gibt es von mir vorgelesen. Hab ich auf Patreon verlinkt. Ist in der kostenlosen Mitgliedschaft mit beinhaltet.

Ich muss mal kurz eine Frage stellen die mir schon eine halbe Ewigkeit auf dem Herzen liegt 😅

Gibt es noch eine Chance, dass “Wie man lebt und 1000 andere Fragen” eine kleine Veröffentlichung bekommt? Ich war damals in den Streams dabei als das geschrieben wurde, und seitdem ist mir die Geschichte irgendwie total ans Herz gewachsen und jeden Winter kommt die Sehnsucht danach wieder hoch.

Ich würde mich extrem über jegliche Möglichkeit freuen, mir das Buch noch einmal in Gänze durchlesen zu können, selbst wenn das nur durch eine kleine selfmade pdf/epub Version auf Patreon o. Ä. ist.

Ich hab es tatsächlich vor einem Jahr mal auf eigene kosten lektorieren lassen und möchte es gerne komplett überarbeiten. Ich glaube mit ein paar tausend Wörtern mehr kann ich da noch viel mehr rausholen. Zudem war ich versucht, das Buch stärker zu illustrieren. 👀

Ich liebe dein Buch "Boris" und natürlich auch die Mona Reihe. 😍Allerdings bin ich etwas verwirrt. Hattest du nicht mal angeteasert, dass ein Buch Helsing oder so heißen sollte? Ich würde mich tierisch über einen Boris Nachfolger freuen (auch wenn auf deiner Webseite steht, dass es ein Einzelhandel ist und das Helsing buch nur auf Patreon als Sample zu sehen ist) und ich bin bestimmt nicht die einzige 🤗Vielleicht findest du ja Zeit, um mir meine Verwirrung diesbezüglich zu nehmen. Aber ich freue mich natürlich auch schon auf alle anderen Bücher die von dir noch kommen. MACH WEITER SO ❤️

Freut mich, dass dir das Buch so gut gefallen hat. Und du bist nicht die einzige, mit der Frage nach einem 2. Band.

Zunächst: Boris ist und bleibt ein Einzelband, er ist in sich abgeschlossen. Aber ich möchte gerne noch einen Band über Van Helsing, das Werwolfsrudel und die Organisation schreiben. Die Backgroundstory des Charakters hat viel Potenzial für einen guten Krimi. Cover und Plot dazu gibt es schon. Aber Bücher brauchen halt Zeit ⏰ Es braucht Monate oder wie beim Atlas Jahre für ein Buch. 😭 Also ... Soon TM.

Japp. Das wird gleichzeitig erscheinen. Diesmal nicht von mir eingelesen, weil meine Stimmbänder gerade ein wenig durcheinander sind, aber die Person, die wir gefunden haben, hat mein Timing für Humor und dafür 400% mehr Skill was Schauspiel angeht. Wird großartig. OWO

Hi,

ich habe gesehen, das man Violet endlich vorbestellen kann *-*. Die Mona-Bücher und auch Boris gibt/gab es im Hardcover. Wird es bei Violet auch eine Schmuckausgabe geben?

Ich finde die Atlas des Äthers Ausgabe aus dem Dichtfestverlag sieht schon etwas verloren aus zwischen der Startnext-Ausgabe und der aktuellen in meinem Bücherregal. Hab Angst, das sich Violet da einreiht.

Das kommt, wie auch bei den anderen Büchern ein bisschen auf die Verkaufszahlen an, ob sich eine Schmuckausgabe lohnt. MONA gab es ja auch erst nur als Taschenbuch und die Hardcover waren limitiert.

Entsprechend wird das der Start des Buches und das laufende Jahr zeigen. :3 Also am besten alles und jedem das Buch aufs Auge drücken und hoffen XD

I loved painting and drawing as a child. But it was always just a thing, a kid does. Nothing serious.

It was because of my obsession with Sailor Moon, that I drew for hours and hours every day. I loved inventing my own stories. But after my Sailor Moon phase, I was actually able to draw "well" enough that I just kept going.

Sailor Jupiter was also my first cosplay. 👁️👄👁️

So thank you, Naoko Takeuchi, for this manga series and your worldbuilding. It really changed my life. 💜😊

Why do all the characters in Baldur's Gate 3 fall in love with me? LIKE IN EVERY PLAYTHROUGH! I was just being nice! 😶 And then in those "scenes", there are just massively dismissive answers that you just don't want to choose because they're mean. So you pick the only nice one and THEN THEY TRY TO KISS YOU! They don't even ask beforehand. Or they look at you with expectations, and you have to reject them in the "moment," AND THEN THEY'RE SO SAD. I almost started something with Wyll BECAUSE HE LOOKED SO SAD LIKE A PUPPY. 😭I JUST THOUGHT WE WERE DANCING. I'M SO SORRY. YOU ARE MY BEST FRIEND, OKAY?

I play a baby elf from the forests. He's a naive monk druid, and the only wood he knows comes from trees … Always talking about nature, love, giving, sharing, be kind - and he's only stealing the sh*t out of most peoples bags, because… Mine, yours, these are all bourgeois categories! All is owned by nature! Duh! Give, don't take. Also, we try to save the world and you want us to pay for better equipment? Rude! And also ... OMG HAVE YOU SEEN THAT CUTE SQUIRREL? CAN WE WATCH IT FOR A WHILE?

So art fight this year was great. Finally I could draw for others again. I miss having the time for that. It's one of the reasons, I managed to stick to drawing, even though my ADHD doesn't let me do shit. Same for writing. Knowing, that out there is someone who needs my words, my art - man, that gives me all the dopamine I need. It's like everything in my life: I can only function for others, not for myself. x'D

Besides on of my OC's (the guy looking at the priest), the characters don't belong to me.

I used 3D models and a mirror for ref. It's still a bit stiff, but before I add more dynamic, I need to understand realism - and boy do we look stiff on photos. The key to drawing is really to mimik movement and flow in a still image. Well, I will get there... someday.

I never tried this coloration and line-art style and you can see, that I get better with every picture (first picture is on the bottom)

Here is a bit background.

This Rook is a Mourn Watch mage and also that kind of necromancer, people don't trust. And not only because he is a bit sassy. He's used to being alone, because he even creeps the other Mourn Watchers. He talks to spirits around him, even tho there are non. And yes, he sounds a little fanatic when he does that … speaking with himself, wandering around in his dark laboratory… So he plays with seen as creepy. Also, people think he is just a young brat, and so they don't take him seriously, thanks to his feminine features - he hated his face for that for a long time. Imagen being in your 30th and people still think, you are a child. (I mean, I have to deal with that all day long …)

But yeah… he also has waaaaay too much fun with a bone saw. Boy, please. Don't laugh like that, while you work on the dead … His creations are … creative, you could say. He is more of a necro-artist, designing the dead like they saw themselves. And well, that IS a bit creepy. Even as a Mourn Watcher. Did his eyes glow while cutting that man in half? Is that a normal smile or a "run as fast as you can" smile?

Only Varric was able to ground that "kid" and so Rook stopped being brassy (okay, not fully). And he also stopped beeing creepy on purpose (okay, not all the time).

And then he met Emmrich. Someone he only heard of - and from only hearing, actually disliked. A perfect image of a Mourn Watcher, he would never full fill. But this kind man … he never judged Rook, not even for a second. Flirting with him was a joke until Rook saw Emmrichs reaction. That look on his face. There was a hint of curiosity - a chance - a spark … So Rook got hooked thanks to his big mouth.

Are the Mona books available in English?

Sadly no. QAQ But you could ask a publishing house, that you really want it ... and maybe that will help me geta a contract for a translation. 👀
