Inej is very wary of Nikolai bc he's 1.- A Lantsov, 2.- a prince and 3.- she knows first handedly that powerful men hide secrets behind those fake smiles. She's Suli, for once, and also she's the Wraith and she'll be damned if she leaves Kaz alone in a small space with that fucking guy.

Kaz being a cry baby when he was a child is a very strong headcanon of mine! Like, you'd have to RIP IT OFF MY DEAD COLD HANDS. It just makes sense for me, y'know? A child that feels so many emotions and whose first response is to cry and crave comfort? Are you gonna look at me and say that isn't the perfect vessel for Dirtyhands to crawl out of? The CONTRAST of it. To go from such a sweet, curious child that cried easily to fucking Kaz Brekker after a prolonged traumatic loss? Chef's kiss

Oh god I forgot to answer the bit about my sister 😭 I didn't see it, sorry. I was scrolling back and forth and then I forgot there was one more paragraph. SORRY. I am the one safe, the one that isn't it's definitely my sister. Her psychiatrist did diagnosed her with a psychotic episode, might have been because of her ADHD meds or the medication being mixed with the MJ or it might have been just the MJ. I can't know, since my mom was the one who accompanied my sister to her appointment. Officially, my sister is moving back in with me and my grandparents because she needs to be watched 24/7 since she could still be at risk of [can I actually say it here on Tumblr? I'm not used to censoring myself, oof] attempting again. Although, my sister said that she did it because she was 'hallucinating' that people were going to kidnap her and sell her, so she was scared and would have rather commit than let them take her. Which, y'know, a little fair.

I am not sure how long the monitoring will have to be, but I am not that happy about it. Not because I don't love my sister, but because since she's so scared, she actually can't sleep alone. And the bed is tiny. And I don't like people touching me while I sleep or being too close while I'm sleeping. In the sense of, like, I like my personal space a little too much, not in a "someone touched me inappropriately and I'm traumatized" kind of way. So, the compromise is setting up a mattress on the floor and I'll stay with my sister on the bed after she takes her sleeping medication until she falls asleep, and then move to the mattress on the floor so I can sleep myself.

This sounds a little like a venting post ngl. Oof. Not my intention at all. But, yeah, life sometimes throws you such a curve ball you are left there like "what the fuuuuuck???"

Inej finding out was just a matter of time! She needed to be the first to know and boy was she going THROUGH ITTTT. She was gonna get this puzzle together because SHE WAS GONNA GET THE PUZZLE TOGETHER.

Kaz framing Wylan and dragging him specifically to Ravka was a necessity he had to consider and weigh the odds. It meant another person knowing he was the Sun Summoner, but he already resigned himself to having to literally embrace that he's the Sun Summoner. He's still going to keep the secret for as long as he can tho.

YES WE ARE FINALLY GOING TO RAVKA! You have no IDEA how much I've been wanting to get Kaz to Ravka!!!! I think everyone will be a little surprised when the next chapter comes out —it's not even finished yet 💀— and realize the full extend of Kaz's and Nikolai's Sun Summoner scheme.
