The cinema is built in a way that you have to go through the back corridors with multiple doors to leave and it winds around tje whole building

I get to the end, i am scared shitless bc i have been walking for minutes. Its queit and im alone. I reach the exit doors(there is 3). I try the first one. Its locked. Other people are coming my way and i ask them if they know how to leave. They dont know. I try the 2nd one. After some struggle it opens

I was scared shitless but atleast it gave me some ideas to draw

The Backrooms movie is incredible, and without spoiling anything, Clark is easily one of my favorite horror protagonists I’ve ever seen. Chiwetel Ejiofor was putting everything he had into this role and it shows. I would kill for this movie to come out digitally so I can just analyze his micro expressions - his EYES. Holy SHIT can that man act. I need him to get a goddamn academy award.

"stratt does bad stuff but it was necessary" WRONG i am very far on the opinion that stratt should not be considered bad at all full stop. i think that when the entire planet is at stake, when the other train track has 8 billion people and every ecosystem in the world? nothing she does is unjustified and it's frankly hypocritical to call any of her actions evil, as if she had a choice and as if you wouldnt do the same. project hail mary was a near-impossible long shot to begin with. if it means the chance of earth's survival goes up by even a thousandth of a percentage, then yes, the person who gets sent up will be the most qualified rather than the most willing.

none of us get to impose any sort of moral or ethical judgement on eva stratt because we are not exempt from the dilemma. we are not bystanders in her trolley problem, we are tied to the tracks, and she is too, but she's the only one who can reach the lever. if nuking antarctica is what lets earth stay habitable for even a few more years then so be it. if kidnapping a goodhearted school teacher to send into a one-way mission means we have a higher chance of survival then so be it. if taking responsibilty over the project means eva stratt goes down in history as a criminal tyrant rather than a hero, then so be it; at least there will be a world for history to be passed down to.

she is not a villain, that is a train of thought that you can only have when you observe from some lofty plane as an audience. it's some real "if i were orpheus i wouldn't turn around" thinking. yes it wasn't ideal but you are missing the point

Its beautiful. I love the visuals,colors,sound,music,props, e v e r y t h i n g. It got me interested in living again. I cant die until i have a physical copy of it (legal or not-so-legal IDC!!! )

Can you imagine being stuck in space completely alone with only the corpses of your friends for company, and the first living thing you meet after 46 years of that misery is a fucking weird alien creature who just rolls up with crazy advanced tech and goes "hi let's work together" and makes it possible for you to save your world through the power of friendship and molecular biology. AND THEN you find out that in this creature's language, its name means "mercy". Happened to my good friend Rocky btw
