Hi! Thank you so much for responding, I understand your blog is more for other things, so I'll try not to ask too many, but I've been very enamored with this pilot so I have a few more. I totally get if you aren't allowed to answer these or if you don't have an answer lol.
-Are there different mantras? Like do they all end in meow meow? When Gabby transforms does she say roar roar cause she's a kaiju?
-Does the mirror have a name? Or is it just "the transforming mirror" or something else generic?
-Salem, Gabby, Khloe, and Becca all have the same reddish pink neck bow, is that some sort of school uniform?
-How old is Salem? My guess would be mid to late teens, but I'm a late teen so I'm biased. Also, is Daisy four or five? In the Instagram casting call it said four, but in the Mr. Squeaker reel she says she's five. (I'm sorry if that sounds creepy, I'm autistic and I get really obsessed with like the details of characters I like.)
-This isn't really a lore question, but the pilot really really reminds me of Glitch Techs in the colors and animation. Was anybody in the team inspired by that show that you know of? I was obsessed with that and ROTTMNT in middle school so NF:MMM feels really nostalgic. Feels like if you put those shows in a blender with the Powerpuff Girls/the neo upa art style as a whole and I really like it.
-Another non lore question, how does the team feel about fan made merch to like sell on Etsy, Redbubble or other sites? Not using official art of course, like selling their fanart or crafts.

for the kaijus, i don't think so. imo they're already powerful enough on their own, they don't need to have a magical transformation. gabby can shoot lasers whenever she wants.
we all just called it 'the comb' so... it's just salem's magical comb lol
salem's in her teens, no older than 16 i'd imagine. she's very much in the brooding teen years. daisy is 4-6 years old, probably 5. when we made the casting call, not everything was set in stone. all i know is that the VA is a bit older than daisy's actual age. not a creepy question at all, we know that people aren't sure about their ages. but everyone's pretty young is the main thing.
hahaha i actually really like this question. i was the one who made the animation guide/style, adapting what jen + mary wanted style wise. they had asked me to join the animation team because my style of animation was already very close to what they want, and i'm very heavily inspired by flying bark studios (the animation house behind RotTMNT and LMK). i do love glitch techs too, but surprisingly we weren't referencing that show a lot. so that's just a coincidence lol. powerpuff girls was actually something we were referencing during storyboarding, and for the backgrounds. most of the animation was inspired by Smiling Friends, Plinko & Mark, Punch Punch Forever, and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (just to name a few)
PLEASE don't sell next friday stuff.. i really appreciate the thought and love behind wanting to, but at this point in time, i think it would do more harm than good.
