As the Admins here in Seoul, we carry the burden of having to keep this place alive and active, having to constantly come up with new ideas and things of the such to keep the place interesting. However, in the recent days, as you may have noticed, the main as well as the dash has become rather inactive. This not only makes us consider closing the place down but also to resign as Admins all together.Â
We understand that when members know who the Admins are it can be more easy to communicate with us and whatnot, however with recent issues we feel as though members have taken advantage of this and think weâre borderline pushovers. We do not mean this is a negative way, for all feedback is good feedback but please keep in mind that like you, we try our hardest, ten fold to make this place a success and we do not need constant reminders from muns on how to carry out our own roles, we understand what our roles are completely when we had chosen to open up this place.
Weâre thankful for people having taken such an interest in our RP and weâre sorry for doing this, but it simply seems like the best option for us.Â

Dylan was born Kang Jaejun on the second last day of 1995. As such, heâs always hated his birthday because of how late in the year it is. He was the youngest Kang child for awhile before his brother Hyukjae was born. While he was jealous at first because of all the attention his brother got, Jaejun soon got over it and the two youngest Kang children would become best friends.
Having a mother who was involved in crime meant his childhood was far from boring. their mother had done some horrible things but Jaejun was facinated by it. he had always particularly liked reading about murders. it had become a hobby, an obsession. he would fall in love with true crimes and murderer stories. itâs one of his âsickâ fascinations.
The family often moved around America and Jaejun quickly learned not to get too attached to someone or something as it always lead to heartbreak. The only people he came to get attached to were his siblings and his cousins.
so, when the family moved to Korea it was no biggie for Dylan. it was a new adventure. an adventure that would lead him to Korean entertainment industry and ultimately, his idol career. being placed in a group with your half brother only made it better for Dylan. He had been training longer, but he loved Jin with all his heart and he was excited to be in a group with his older brother.
Jaejun lives life to the fullest. he works hard to get what he wants and being an idol requires a lot of work. he always makes time for his family and still tries to show Jin that, even though they are half siblings, he loves him like crazy. Which is why you will see Dylan cling to Jin like crazy.

The Baes were known for being hard-working people and bringing to model children into the world. While they didnât have much, everyone always told thing that things will turn great for them in the end. They had a boy and girl who were not only good looking, but really smart and hard-working, just like their parents. They always did great in school, beating everyone else with their scores. How could two kids end up disappointing their parents? Well, it all started when the family moved to Seoul. The Baes had been saving up to move to the city and open a restaurant there for years. It took over a decade, but finally the finally was able to move into a small apartment in the city and open up their own restaurant.
Somin and Jimin both worked there after school, to help out their parents as much as they could. Somin would often bring her homework to the restaurant and do it whenever it was a little slow. It was safe to say that their grades were not affected at all by the move. However, just like in all stories, she met a boy. Jin. He was a friend of her brotherâs so she didnât want to get to close to him. But fourteen and starting to pay more and more attention to boys. Despite knowing that her brother would be highly against it, she began to date him. He would always stop by the shop at night when she was working and sheâd go on walks with him (which almost always ended up with the two making out at the park by the swings sets). He was everything she ever wanted in a boy. Who wouldâve thought she would meet the man of her dreams when she was only fourteen, right?
Well, the man of her dreams turned out to be hiding things from her. The first was his background. They never talked much about his family. So when he finally took her to his house for dinner, her jaw literally dropped when they made it to the massive house. For a few seconds she thought they were at the wrong house. Why would anyone with that kind of money be eating at a hole in the wall restaurant? She confronted him immediately after the dinner, thinking that he was only with her because he was bored and wanted to have fun with some poor little girl from Busan. Luckily, he was able to calm her down and explain everything to her before she did something stupid âlike breaking up with him for reasons she made up in her head and were the farthest thing from reality.
The two stayed strong for two years, up until she found out another secret he had been keeping from her. During one of the nights the two were spending together, his phone vibrated while he was in the bathroom. Being the curious person that she was, she checked to see who was texting her man that late at night. It was his mother, asking about some heart. Confused, she scrolled up through their conversations and read things straight out of action movies there. What kind of mother was this? Just who exactly was she dating? Fearing the answer to that, Somin put the phone down and left without telling him a word. For the next couple of days, she avoided him like the plague and ignore all his calls and texts. She made sure to tell her parents to not let him in whenever he stopped by the house. She didnât want to see him. Even at school, she started taking different routes on her walk home so she would never run into him when he stopped by there.
She couldnât hide from him forever though. Two weeks after finding out about his mother and him, she noticed she was late. So Min always got her period on time, so the girl freaked out when she noticed she didnât get it. Without wasting any time, she bought a home pregnancy test. Much to her dismay, it was positive. The brunette went to her mother crying, thinking that her parents would be there for her. But no, instead they kicked her out. Her brother wasnât able to her, the only person she could turn to was the very person she was avoiding âJin. She went to him, balling her eyes out. She ruined not only her future, but his as well. He was training to become an idol, how could she do this? The young girl debated on whether she should keep her baby or not.
Jin took her in, explained everything âor what she thought was everything. From the killings, to that life being behind him now and street racing. Despite her shock, she stayed with him for a few weeks. She needed somewhere to live just until she gathered enough money to be able to afford a place on her own. But she made sure he knew they were over. She couldnât be with a murderer, nor did she want to bring her child into that kind of lifestyle. After working part-time at a convenience store for a few weeks, she finally gathered enough money to afford a small apartment sheâd share with some stranger. She promised herself that it would be for a small amount of time, just until she saved enough to move out into a bigger place. The last thing she wanted to do was take Jinâs money.
A few months turned into a few years, and before she knew it, she was twenty two years old and living in the same place with her five year old baby boy. The apartment was definitely not the best. It was the furthest thing from the best. The neighborhood wasnât very safe either. But it was all she could afford on her secretary salary while she was still saving up money to buy a small house where she could raise her baby boy. Or even just rent an apartment in a nicer area.

Seoul City. The place millions call home. Min Jaehyun was one of those millions. He was born with two older brothers who took him graciously. In fact, they each wanted their own little brother and didnât want to share their younger with one another. His brothers were eight years older than him but growing up they all still had a strong bond, which made Jaehyunâs parents happy. When his brothers reached their first year of high school he was only seven, and yet both his brothers meant so much to him. They practically raised him because both of his parents were lawyers, and to say they were away a lot was an understatement. Once Jaehyunâs brothers were old enough to cook and take care of someone other than themselves their parents took cases that meant more than just working in their shared office at home. But Jaehyun didnât mind, he loved his brothers with all his heart.
Joonahâs eldest brother did his military time right after he graduated and it really messed with Jaehyun. Most nights it was him and his other brother. Now the one not in the military was smart and more shy than the other, which bothered Jaehyun. He wanted to be loud and play at the local ice skating rink and go to see his friends but his brother wanted to stay at home and do homework. Homework.. Jaehyun hated homework. His attention span was small and he never cared for anything they were doing in class. He only enjoyed science truly. He excelled and went above and beyond past everyone in his class. His brother was good at science too and when he had an adorable little kid begging him to teach the chemistry or biology he was doing he couldnât just not teach him. And he knew it would help him cement it in his mind. Jaehyun got to the point where he had to almost help his brother with it, but he was always nice about it, being âraisedâ by his parents with manners after all.
The nights that Jaehyun and his brother werenât eating ramen were short of few. His parents would bring them to celebration parties occasionally but if they were home they were usually too tired to cook. Jaehyun saw this and he never understood exactly why his parents were so tired, it always confused him. He didnât understand the strain they were having being lawyers, and high in demand ones at that. He once saw his mom on t.v. but she didnât want to really talk about it when she came home that night. His dadâs eye bags grew deeper and darker and he stopped wanting to pick Jaehyun up when he came home. His parentâs were beyond stressed and one night just snapped at Jaehyun. He didnât understand why but he took the yelling with âYes maâam.â And âYes sir.â His older brother was out for the night so he couldnât crawl into bed with him and cry, so he cried silently that night. He woke up the next morning to his parents making breakfast and quick apologies from their mouth, his eyes were still puffy.
High school was hard for Jaehyun. His brothers had all officially moved out and he was home alone most nights. It caused him too slack off in his first two years of high school, he was too busy infatuated by the ice. His parents yelled at him but he wasnât really phased by it. He knew what he was going to do. He wanted to be an ice skater. Yet in the beginning of high school he never really showed it, he never showed anything more than maybe a fake smile. When his parents were home they were yelling, and most nightâs heâd just leave in the middle of their yelling. Heâd go to the skating rink and skate. Heâd skate for hours.
Joonahâs parents never understood why he was so obsessed with the ice, he didnât really know either. It was just easy for him. He could put on headphones and skate and skate and skate til his heart gave out. Eventually with him being there every night one of the figure skating coaches spotted him and watched. Jaehyun remembered their first conversation.
âHow long have you been skatng?â
âSince I was about eight, maâam.â
âHave you ever had formal training?â
âNo maâam.â
âDo you want too?â
And from that day the boy started training. His coach, a former olympian herself, taught him for free because she saw herself in him, and she understood his parents not approving. Her parents were the same way, so she made him promise to bring back gold for her one day, and he swore heâd keep that.
When the boy turned 18 he took the money his parents had given him and moved out, his coach had got him the audition for the olympic team. The day of the audition was so stressful for Jaehyun. He didnât remember much of it but he knew his performance was good enough, and the cocky sonfoabitch would go to the next olympics.
The boy was happy, but he knew his money would run out sometime, but he had no other marketable skills, other than dancing. He knew how to move his body⌠Maybe it wouldnât be that bad to call that special service backâŚ
[ MOON YURI ] was born on [ SEPTEMBER 14 1991 ]. [ SHE ] is currently [ TWENTY FIVE ] years old and works as the [ OWNER OF CAFE YURI ]. They live in [ GWANAK HOSTEL ROOM 1304B ] and with every new face, a new story unfolds.
( PERSONALITY )
Yuri can come off as someone with a bit of an attitude but in her defense, sheâd say itâs only really ever shown when the recipient deserves it. Sheâs got a strong vibe of independence and confidence thatâs clear for anyone to see and itâs something that she does her best to maintain. One Yuri sets her mind on a task, sheâs hard working and does her best to strive and succeed, although success isnât always the outcome of such efforts and in these cases, she does her best not to let it get her down, although sometimes this proves difficult to do. Yuri enjoys baking very much and finds it to be a constant stress reliever for herself when she doesnât want to speak about her problems and for those that know her well, they know that when sheâs baking, more than likely thereâs something on her mind.
( BIOGRAPHY )
The only life that Yuri had ever known growing up was that of the orphanage in which she was raised in. She had never met her family and wasnât sure if they were dead or alive, if she had any brothers or sisters or if she was simply a mistake that her parents didnât have the heart to abort and instead, gave her up. Whatever the case, it caused Yuri to have a great sense of feeling unwanted, especially when her friends at the orphanage one by one got adopted into loving families and she still stayed there year after year, no one taking a second look at the young girl and not wanting her to be a part of their family.
Yuri was a loud child, always running around and despite her circumstances, she did her best to maintain good spirits. She would talk to all the kids and try to become their friends and did her best not to make anyone feel lonely and for the times when her friends were sad, she would sing for them, something that she took great pride in and something that everyone in the orphanage loved. One day when Yuri was 12, while Yuri was out with one of the caregivers at the orphanage, she was singing in the streets as she went shop to shop and at that time, a talent agent from an agency found her and before she knew it, she had become a trainee with the promises that sheâd one day become a famous idol.
Although it wasnât exactly being adopted, Yuri was taken out of the home and put into a dorm where other trainees were and felt as though she belonged to a family and worked hard in order to make her debut. But again, as the years passed, her friends debuted and left and Yuri was still in training, being told that sheâd debut soon and that really, she had nothing she needed to improve on. Without much of a choice, she accepted this and kept working, keeping the money she earned and spending frugally in order to make sure she didnât waste it on useless things. It helped that the agency decided when she ate and paid for what she ate so that she never had to spend the food on money.
By the time she was 22, ten years had passed and her contract with the agency was coming to an end and instead of renewing it and letting Yuri debut, they decided to let her go, saying that she simply didnât have the image or what they were looking for to become an idol and immediately broke the young girlâs heart.
Lost and confused and no longer able to live in an orphanage, she found a small apartment in Gwanak and moved in, using the money she had saved up in order to do so. It was hard to get things going for herself when she was 22 and didnât have an education and Yuri struggled with trying to figure out how to get by until finally, she found a small store in Gwanak for sale at an unbelievably cheap price. Although she didnât have enough, she knew a bank loan would give her what she needed in order to start her own business, which is exactly what she did.
Spending the bank loans on buying the shop and fixing the shop up, Yuri opened a cafe where she made her own baked goods and used the money she had been saving up in order to buy supplies and hire someone to help her out. Three years later, sheâs still in debt with the banks but her business is doing rather well, allowing her to pay her debts on time although she has to give up a few luxuries here and there in order to do so and since being told she didnât have what it took to be an idol, Yuri never sang for anyone ever again, deciding to keep her voice to herself.

CHAPTER ONE: BLUNT
born into a family, or rather given away, cheonsa wasnât sure. there had always been an invisible line that divided her and the reality that she lived in. even as a toddler she found serenity in the oddity of otherâs suffering and pain. the smile that would grow on her lips as those around her complained about their lives being nothing but the dung they had created it to be.
she sat alone in that little corner of the broken shaft, a house it had been, and now a room it used to be, but now it was nothing but a leaf over her head. poverty had been something she was very familiar with, her parentâs werenât exactly just that, they were but adults that threw bread at her in hopes she would stay alive long enough to make it on her own. and they were blunt about it, about how her own blood had rejected her and thrown her to the curb, only to have them save her from the precipice of no return. but even then, if her own blood had given up on her, what made these people stay? the thoughts wondered and haunted her, a nightmare that turned day dreaming into a living hell.
CHAPTER TWO: IMPULSIVE
with food and money running low, all she could do was nibble on the sleeve of her shirt, in hopes that even this would not be taken away from her. the adults that took care of her soon unmasked themselves, having traded in the now adolescent and decent looking girl into the world of forbidden innocence. a child that was too young to be exposed to such things. her body used as a canvas for money, despite her screams and yelling cries for help, they gagged her only finding her useful as long as they had gotten the pleasure they came for.
they were impulsive, not thinking of the future cheonsa could have had. the scarring she had towards the male species made her a bitter soul, that walked across the doomed hell of limbo.
CHAPTER THREE: JUDGEMENTAL
she grew up. old enough to run away. old enough to create a living for herself, and old enough to fight back. with the association she had already held in her hand, and the embarrassment of walking the darkened streets of seoul, known as the child canvas of the streets made her shudder in disgust.
she took life to a new turn, a challenge she was determined to undertake. a music graduate of the seochu university and she had taken her life to newer heights. the astraeus nightclub becoming her second home before becoming a renowned dj of the underground world. an online persona began to grow from what seemed like nothing. one thing lead to another, as her music career lead her to another, a tattoo artist known for her minimalistic artwork and style. and soon enough, she was able to support herself in a little room within the gwanak hostel.
CHAPTER FOUR: HOSTILE
with her newfound sense of fame, her name spreading across the underground world as if she was one of them. only to find herself being inclusive and overly interested in their work. she already had the followers she needed in her online climb of recognition, and the dragon's welcomed her into their family with open arms. her past had become known to their leader, and she finds nothing but comfort as she dwells in the streets once more. but this time with the ones she knows she can trust. her dragons have her safety net, and a safety net she needed.
CHAPTER FIVE: DISTANT
now, she refuses to draw herself close to anyone, but her dragons. she is afraid, afraid of being exposed, judged and thrown to the curb again. now, she is blunt, impulsive, judgemental, hostile and distant with those around her, a pessimistic view upon everyone she encounters. a cynical eye that monitors and deletes as soon as she finds a flaw in their code.
