whats your issue with the movie Moonlight
Iām at work so to be brief;Itās a DL apologist film with very little insight to the poor black gay experience beyond that of self denial and constant trauma (which is accurate in a way). That being said the director who is a black southern gay himself said the film wasnt a gay film but that Chiron and Kevinās sexuality were just important elements of the plot and story but not necessarily the main highlight.
We internet black fags because of content drought went crazy for the film and boosted it beyond the meaning that was there and got it to win awards before realizing none of us can really relate to the film cause letās be honest Chiron would be on jackd with a faceless torso pic saying āno fems, fit and masc, looking for a nigga to vibe and smoke wit.
