I had this intel that told me that Dav Pilkey have truly enjoy the Captain Underpants movie on the premiere! That means the movie it's going to be great!!

I am so happy 😭😭😭 I have never been so excited over a movie before but I can promise you I am going to be shaking in the car, stuttering at the ticket booth, dropping popcorn all over the place, and sobbing tears of joy when I plop down in those theater seats far before the trailers start playing.

Honestly, I see Cross-Sticth more like an anti hero or an "art avenger".

At first when I was creating her, I wanted her to be a heroine more or less, but once I developed a backstory for her, she turned into more of a "I THINK I'm doing a good thing for the kids but the adults say I'm doing a bad thing so I GUESS I'm evil???"

Decided to jump on the villain bandwagon.

So to recap, her name is Miss Selene Nius (a play on Miscellaneous) and she is an art teacher. She is very sweet, kinda scatterbrained and loves her students.

But once the school started making budget cuts and denying funding for her art program, she went beserk and became Cross-Stitch.

She now has a personal vendetta against the Jerome Horwitz Elementary school board, and every last school board in the world who thinks they can deny an artistic environment to children.
