Okay, this is picture spam because I didn't feel like updating what new things I'd added ;) Just photos from the album - including one set I made as a gift for _marie_
Dolls in t-shirts made for Memorial Day.
My entry into the Guild War. I won!
Finished :) I still need to do the colors, recoloring is the worst, most boring part for me :D
ok, in the meantime while making a big set for Brielle I made a few dresses for GOC
I have a lot of fun using AI. I can generate any outfit I want instead of wondering "what would that look like" or spending hours searching for inspiration.
I think this outfit will be a great fit for Brielle, who has so few clothes!
Twilight Palm Garden- for Crystal and for Frankie.
International Bee Day- for Crystal :)
Sunset After Dark for Vanda! Midnight Oasis Prom - orange, purple, red, ombré evening look...
International Bee Day - Brielle and Frankie.
Upload is already working, so…
The upload is already working, so… The second dress inspired by the GOC theme: "Jewel Toned Desert Queen. Midnight Oasis Prom - emerald, ruby, sapphire, regal styling" is only available in one color.
So what if I made a pretty good set for Frankie, inspired by the GOC "Golden Dune Glamour" theme? Since the new patch, uploading hasn't been working. So, for reasons beyond my control, I don't know when it will appear in the game….
I like drawing,I get incredibly excited and happy when someone writes to me that they like a particular dress, when I see clothes they bought from me in players' albums. I love playing this game, but it's been patched, its code is typical "legacy code spaghetti."I understand that browser games with multiple dependencies (economy, wardrobe, voting, shops, events, inventory, forum, etc.) are prone to regressions. The project is old, and without a large QA team, code review, and staging, bugs are inevitable after patches. But as a player, I'm frustrated. Constant patching and adding features instead of a thorough refactor makes the game behave like an old tenement house. You fix a door in the basement, a shelf falls off in the kitchen.
Maybe I'll finish it today; for now, it's a gold dress. I'm planning a bag, shoes, some exotic hair accessory, jewelry…
Cactus Bloom Couture for Vanda.
While browsing upcoming GOC themes, I fell in love with Cactus Bloom Couture. So I made an outfit, and then I realized how much work it would be with different colors… So I decided to make an exclusive gift for a friend in the game.
In my excitement and rush, I didn't realize that the shoes were a layer under the dress, and I drew them in Gimp above the dress… Luckily, the game has the ability to switch layers, so it's not a problem :)
Vanda, a 1950s-style outfit.
I had more ideas, but I disobeyed the Polish proverb "don't stick your fingers between the doors" and slammed my finger in the car door. Ouch! It's hard to do anything without a functioning thumb on your leading hand…
