Queer rights may be about our right to be normal- to be normal couples, to live normal trans lives, to be normal people. But queer rights are also about our autonomy to be odd. We are QUEER, after all- weird, odd, not normal. And that is something that was originally imposed upon us, but we have taken it. It is ours now. Because lgbt rights are about our right to be normal, yes, but it is also about bodily autonomy! It is about our right to live our lives with odd genders and weird relationship structures and queer bodies. Assimilation might sound like a fine way to escape prejudice- but quite frankly, it doesn't matter. Because we are not just fighting for our rights to live like cishet people, we are also fighting for our right to live without having to worry about putting a toe out of line. We are queer, and we always will be. We won't really be free until we can live our lives as odd, as strange, as queer as we want.
Gender Selector Update 2.3
Hello, we at genderselectors.org.gov.com try to give our customers the best way to ask someone for their gender on their website.
In the past we just had a drop down menu with male or female but we quickly realized that this didn't cover every option.
We tried many things like giving the user the option to upload a custom gender up to 10MB. However that only led to people uploading a zip file containing the first doom game.
Then we tried to give them the option to enter a custom text. However this again only led to people writing 'ACAB'.
Now we have finally found the perfect solution
By letting the user select how male, female and gay they are we can cover every gender identity without letting the user break the form.
Thank you for your attention the role out will begin tomorrow.

An Introduction to the Koran Imperium (yet again)
The Koran Imperium is a formidable entity that dominates a large portion of the galactic core, spanning a territory so vast that it is difficult to fathom its true extent. This society is characterized by its stagnant nature, as it has remained relatively unchanged for centuries, with political manipulation and imperialism being its driving forces.
At the heart of the Koran Imperium lies a massive, bureaucratic machine that governs every aspect of society. The upper echelons of the bureaucracy are populated by a ruthless and cunning elite, who use their power to maintain their grip on the imperium. The lower ranks of the bureaucracy are made up of a vast sea of workers who are tasked with carrying out the orders of their superiors.
The economy of the Koran Imperium is heavily geared towards the military-industrial complex, with the production of weapons, spacecraft, and other military hardware being the primary focus. The vast resources of the imperium are exploited ruthlessly, with entire planets being stripped of their natural wealth to feed the insatiable appetite of the war machine.
The society of the Koran Imperium is highly hierarchical, placing the ruling elite at the top and the working class at the bottom. The upper-class lives in luxury, enjoying all the comforts that the imperium has to offer, while the lower-class is viewed as expendable and is often subjected to brutal working conditions.
The population of the Koran Imperium is deeply xenophobic and suspicious of outsiders. The state-controlled media constantly portrays the imperium as superior to other stellar nations, and the people are encouraged to be blindly loyal to the state. Dissent is not tolerated, and anyone who speaks out against the government is swiftly dealt with by the Imperial Security Service.
The Koran Imperium is feared by many other stellar nations, who are often bullied into submission by its military might. The imperium extracts tribute from those who are deemed weaker, and those who refuse to comply are met with swift and brutal reprisals. The Koran Imperium is a society that values strength above all else, and it will stop at nothing to maintain its dominance over the galaxy.
The Economy of the Koran Imperium
The imperiumās economy is immense but stagnant. Several massive mega-corporations lead the economy, holding monopolies on almost every market imaginable. Much of the imperiumās economy is driven by the military-industrial complex. Shipyards churn out warships day and night while massive factory arcologies produce thousands of tons of munitions. This military equipment is produced on contract with the government, like many other goods that are produced.
The imperial government and the upper-class closely watch over and control the economy. They set the prices for everything that is bought and sold within the imperiumās borders. The upper-class also controls much of the wealth, holding between 48% and 51% of this wealth. The bottom 50% of the imperium's population only controls between 2% and 3.5%.
Imperial Culture
Many different cultures can be found throughout the imperium depending on race, environment, and other factors. The core āimperial cultureā, or the culture of the upper-class, is one of extravagance and luxury with little regard for others. Members of the upper-class tend to be arrogant and condescending towards those they view as lower than themselves. Honor and loyalty to oneās family and superiors are considered very important. Women are considered to be equal to men, although same-sex relationships are considered taboo.Ā
This core culture is often impressed onto the lower classes and even other polities through imperialist policies, including forced cultural assimilation using propaganda. This assimilation creates a mentality in which humanity is perceived to be superior to the other species.
The "Imperial" Mentality
The āimperialā mentality created by this core culture is fundamentally incompatible with the concept of autonomy. Under this mentality, states perceived to be ālesserā must be subjugated and exploited for the benefit of the imperium and its elite. Subjugated states are often restricted from expanding in order to keep them compliant and to prevent them from posing any risk to the imperiumās dominance.
The Imperium's Social Hierarchy
At the very top of the hierarchy lies the emperor and his court. The emperor has ultimate power, controlling every aspect of the imperium. Below the emperor come the 12 major families. While these families are very powerful, they are still subservient to the emperorās will. Members of the families can be found in the most powerful government and military positions. They control the economy, choosing which goods are available to who and how much they cost. These families have control over many sectors of imperial space, handling the day-to-day administration and upholding the emperorās will.
Below this comes the middle-class. While small, the middle-class is essential to the imperium. They work as low-level government bureaucrats, corporate functionaries, and any other white-collar jobs.Ā
At the very bottom lies the lower-class. The majority of the imperiumās population fits into this category. The lower-class is viewed as an expendable resource by the upper-class and is treated as such. They work in factories and mines, often in unsafe conditions. Living conditions vary greatly throughout the imperium. In the city worlds, space is very valuable, and entire families are crammed into tiny apartments. In the outer territories and colonies, living conditions are often better and more space can be afforded to each family.
What is the Koran Imperium?
The Koran Imperium is a stagnant, resource-hungry, massively bureaucratic society. It has risen to a position of dominance through political manipulation and imperialism. Many members of the galactic community are afraid to stand up to the imperiumās military might. They are often bullied into submission, being forced to pay tribute or give up their autonomy.
The imperium is situated around the galactic core, its borders are so vast that it takes over three months to travel from one end to the other. The economy is massive, fueled mainly by the military-industrial complex. Imperial society is very hierarchical, with the upper-class living in luxury while the lower-class is viewed as expendable. The imperiumās population is very xenophobic and blindly loyal to the state, often working against their own interests.
A Game of Empires is a world full of political intrigue and warfare on a galactic scale. The galaxy has been divided between three major powers: the power-hungry Koran Imperium, the enigmatic Calandrian Empire, and the peace-keeping Commonwealth of Autonomous Republics. The Galactic Council struggles to maintain peace as a long and brutal cold war rages between the three major power blocs. Despite trying to stay neutral, the Trade Federation has been swept up into the conflict, being forced to pick a side or else face complete destruction. Total war seems inevitable and many civilians have begun to flee to the Far Reaches in an attempt to escape the coming conflict. The fate of the galaxy hangs precariously in the balance...
