I know it’s been all Eugene/Pugsley after S2 but I really wish someone would so some Agnes/Pugsley fics.

Need someone to do a fic, that ignores Enid running off into the woods as an alpha, where the tables are turned and Wednesday now finds herself jealous because Agnes won’t stop hanging out with Enid now. Whenever she tries to go on an investigation, she’ll invite Agnes along, sometimes Enid too if it’s safe enough, but Agnes and Enid always have plans.

Really wanna write a fanfic where Enid and Agnes start to grow closer when Enid overhears Agnes on the phone with her mother and it turns out Agnes’ mom is a raging bitch like Esther. She’s very controlling, very abusive. It’s one of the reasons Agnes idolises Wednesday so much. Wednesday is so independent and so strong that she idolises her and wants to be just like her.

And when Enid overhears that phone call, all of a sudden it’s like everything makes sense to her.

Overall I liked Wednesday Season Two Part One

Episode One was a bit iffy for me but the following three were superb. Agnes is probably my favourite new addition to the cast. Her idolisation of Wednesday and her constant rage baiting of Enid made for some funny moments.

They’ve definitely upped the horror element of this season which I appreciated. And I loved the increase of the Addams Family’s involvement in the show.

That being said I am not a fan of Eugene and Enid in this season so far.

With Eugene, we saw him interact with Wednesday once. Other than that, he started out cold and dismissive to Pugsley and all in all just felt like a different character.

With Enid, I do not like them making her a cheater. It felt extremely out of character for her from what we saw of her in Season One. If they’d emphasised her being part of a pack now after being excluded for all of Season One, maybe had her deal with the sudden popularity and not wanting to lose it, I’d get it, but we got none of that. All we got was Enid ignoring Ajax whilst going after Bruno.

Hopefully some of these issues are addressed in Part Two of the season.

I just had a lovely HC come to mind. Wenclair are in the first year of their relationship and it hasn’t been easy all the time and Wends wonders if she can ever be the woman Enid needs, she knows her shortcomings and even though she loves Enid to the point of insanity she doubts herself as she can’t always get things right when interacting with her girlfriend.

Imagine if in the middle of an argument about something minor she snaps into a vision as she grabs Enid’s hand to try and stop her walking out of the room. She sees a vision of Enid helping her out of an armchair in her old age, so she can kiss her grandchildren before they head back home after visiting them. Enid is still tall and strong but with crazy greying hair with the same coloured tips, their children a wild random mix of their own characteristics. In the vision she FEELS her contentment and happiness in that moment. She sees Enid’s blue eyes and beaming smile as the werewolf holds her tiny frail body steady so she can bend down to kiss the grandchildren, still so full of love for her gothic wife.

When she awakes from the vision she breaks down in tears of happiness as she knows she won’t ever be alone again as Enid will be by her side forever. She realises that she can be enough for her magnificent wolf.

Enid is super concerned but Wends won’t tell her what she has seen. Enid just whispers to her “everything will be ok babycakes” and Wends just says quietly “yes it will be my love, it really will.”
