In my fic, Vega is the werewolf daughter of Wednesday and Enid Addams. She attends Nevermore in the year 2049 . Sora is a 'normie' in Jericho who's secretly able to see ghosts (and not so secretly likes girls). They meet while investigating the disappearance of Sora's childhood friend.
How exactly did they end up in this situation? Guess you'll have to read on to find out...
Early morning after a full moon half naked Enid is desperately trying to bury a dead body in pine needles and less than a foot of snow
Suddenly realizing she's being watched Enid whips around to see Wednesday watching her
Enid: *panicking* This isn't, I didn't *crumbling under Wednesday’s gaze* this is exactly what it looks like
Wednesday: *amused* It appears to be the feeblest most pathetic attempt to dispose of a body I have ever witnessed
Enid freezes not knowing what to do
Wednesday: *taking off her coat* Put this on
Enid: I don't need…
Wednesday: You are clearly post transformation as it doesn't appear you ate any of your kill
Enid: *horrified* I would never!
Wednesday: *annoyed at being interrupted* your caloric balance is crashing, your adrenaline is likely plateauing if not crashing, soon you will be at risk of hypothermia. Put it on before I have two dead bodies to deal with!
Enid puts on the coat sheepishly
Enid: What are you going to do now?
Wednesday: *observing the scene* In your ‘attempt’ you've left behind more biological evidence than if you had done nothing, if we remove the body I may be able to make it appear like a natural act of predation, I have what we need in my truck, come with me

They finish the walk to her truck in silence, the truck has park insignia, popping the tail gate of the truck Wednesday reveals the scavenged remains of a dead bull elk
Going to the cab Wednesday retrieves a bone saw, tarp,some garbage bags
Enid: . . . Are you a serial killer?
Wednesday: I'm a biologist the skill sets are not inconsistent
Enid: Why do you have that?
Wednesday: I was going to use it for a study on carnivore behavior in the area
Enid: I mean the saw!!!

Seeing Enid’s bare feet she returns to her truck and grabs her work bag getting a pair of sweat pants and socks then a pair of heavy duty winter boots pulling out the lining

Spreading out the tarp behind her truck Wednesday grabbed the male elk by rack and began pulling
Wednesday: *grunting* Do you intend to help, or just stand there head empty
Enid: Oh sorry! *grabbing it by the remains of the hind end helps shift it onto the tarp*
Wednesday: I will carry the front end you carry the rear
Enid: or I could just drag it in stronger than I look
Wednesday: I have no doubt of your physical prowess but the drag marks leading to the kill sight will look suspicious

Wednesday: An elk, and we are going to exchange it with the body so the disturbance and blood do not seem suspicious

After hiking nearly back to the scene of the crime Wednesday suddenly stops
Enid: What’s wrong? We're nearly there
Wednesday drops her end and Enid copies and walks up to see the problem
The body is gone
Wednesday: This may prove more troublesome than I first believed . . .
Enid: Oh my god. Why didn’t I look at my lunar cycle calendar when I asked you out for this night, Wednesday?
Wednesday: You didn’t plan this?
Enid: well obviously I planned this walk for my date asking you out. But I did not plan for a New Moon!! Obviously I didn’t want a full moon because I would be locked in the lupin cages
Wednesday: I keep trying to get them to change that rule. My grandmama even agreed to fund getting all werewolves fitted with gps and shock collars to stay within Nevermore limits and well as a perimeter fence. But the board said no.
Enid: really?
Wednesday: yes. To quote the board. ‘The cages work. If it’s not broken we don’t need to fix it’
Enid: it’s so cruel. To not let us wolf out and run!
Wednesday: exactly! And your wolf is beautiful
Enid: thank you for that. But back to this!! I hate the New Moon
Wednesday: It’s my favorite moon phase, Enid
Enid: really? And why does that not surprise me?
Wednesday: yes. But the full moon has grown on me for obvious reasons.
Enid: so I did choose the perfect night for this walk.
Wednesday: You did. I will keep you safe, Enid. Always. You will always be that annoying light at the end of my dark abyss. And I would not have it any other way
