Hello! Here’s the first set of the four part photo shoot. As you can see, these are very starkly different from the ones taken in the park which were bright and airy. The location is a bit of an accident because it was so cold, but the strange lighting and desaturated colors are because I’ve been feeling quite Wednesday Addams lately. ‘So why not a serial killer themed shoot?’ I asked myself. The fiction I write tends to have psychological horror and true crime elements and I love to explore the darker, more disturbing aspects of sex and beauty. Kayla has a natural, sensually-charged kind of beauty that will really come through in the rest of the photos that will be posted today (they’re in the queue—I promise!) and it is a juxtaposition against the abrupt, very empty and cold setting of the office building that almost looks derelict. The story I had in mind was that of a cold-blooded killer attracted to the bountiful curves and beauty of plus size women, who lures in the object of his desires for a sexy photo shoot. Something goes wrong along the way though—as can be seen from her sometimes angry faces and hateful glares—and the woman becomes a beautiful corpse. But if that’s far too morbid, you can also imagine her as a vengeful succubus or vampire luring in her prey. Either works with the beautiful clothes and her expressions, I think!

Part three of the four part photo shoot with ks5392 as my model! These remind me of the lyrics to Sublime’s Summertime/Doin’ Time and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s the bright lights and high contrast along with that thug(ish) face Kayla is making in one It looks like something you’d see on a Sublime cover! But what do I know? We’re nearing the end of the park photos with Kayla so I hope everyone is prepared for the next setting! I’ll post a preview tomorrow before I post the last of Kayla’s gorgeous pictures.

Here’s part two of the four part photo shoot I did of ks5392! I’m still so in love with her hair. I think I’ll put pink in mine sometime. Hers has an absolutely gorgeous pastel hue. More from my jamais vu shoot. Playing with some of the editing. I hope everyone enjoys this aesthetic! I’m reading the Complete works of Jane Austen, the Complete Poe, and World’s Greatest Love Letters. It sounds snooty but I really only enjoy classic literature and maybe modern classics (liiiiiike Harry Potter, haha!)

Here’s a preview of my favorite images I took of ks5392 with more to come in the next few days! She’s my friend and coworker and she has beautiful hair and likes to put sweaters on her cats so everyone go check her out!

I will be adding the rest of my photos from the jamais vu shoot tomorrow while I work on hers so please support us by watching for those! In the meantime, you can check out these gorgeous ones and the ones I’ve posted so far of me. I love playing with the color and lighting almost as much as I love taking the pictures themselves, as you can tell by the craziness of the one with Kayla by the tracks. I wanted to make it feel a little foreign, alien, maybe uncertain. I didn’t like the coolness of enhancing the blues, but I love the vibrant jungle feel you get from turning up the greens. And what a pretty dress she’s wearing! I love it.
