so if anyone wants to plot hmu for ashton
HEY GUESS WHOSE BACK ! hopefully, you didnât forget about this hippy artist. heâs still the same, and no changes really to his background/personality. basically the moral to his story is that he left because of the rumors of his father and because he was depressed but hes better now. ( also his aunt forced him to come back to school ).
for a refresher and for the new peopleÂ
ksdaewon:
For Daewon, his childhood had been a good one up until the death of his brother and even though he tried to forget that he witness his brotherâs death, his memories from back then seemed to be too vivid to forget. Â Maybe it was that reason that he was not able to forget Ashton after just one visit and to see him here in front of him made that memory much stronger. Â At his apology, the older shook his head and offered the artist a reassuring smile to make it obvious that he had nothing to be sorry about it. Â Of course, when the other continued talking, Daewon grew confused and concerned. Â Ashton couldnât possibly be talking about his father, right? Â The last thing he wanted was for them to not only share the fate of not having a mother but of also hating their fathers.
âThe feeling is mutual and my name is Yi Daewon.â He offered the other a warm and friendly smile and while it would have been so easy to ask him about his father, the misfit decided not to. Â If his cousin wanted to tell him about that, he would and there was also the fact that he wanted to keep their reunion a happy thing. Â âI really canât believe I didnât meet you before but when I saw your name on the list on those who got injured, I knew it was you. I should probably tell you that you have another cousin, my younger sister but she goes to the University of Seoul. You met her as well but I donât think she would remember either.â
HE nodded slowly at the new information. ashton felt sad that he couldnât remember a simple family member but it was something his father allowed. it was like he forcefully detached himself from the whole family causing ashton to be out of touch with loved ones. he doesnât remember daewon, nor does he remember the other that was mentioned. the more he thought about it, the more anger seemed to bubble up inside of him. this whole time, he couldâve found an escape route, a safe haven from that man. instead the older blocked him from seeing anyone other than the times when he actually sneak out the house to meet up with his friends. though this moment wasnât about thinking on the pass, or reminiscing times he didnât want to think about. instead, this was a time to catch up with his cousin he didnât remember.Â
â i canât believe that either, iâm known a lot around this campus so... we couldâve crossed paths, but was just too caught up to notice -- well, more so for you. â ashton gave a sheepish laugh towards the male. â it kind of sucks that i donât remember any of you. in fact, youâre the first family member iâve met besides my aunt, and uncle. â Â
ksdaewon:
The frown should have been enough for Daewon to realized that the other didnât know who he was but it wasnât as his mind was too occupied with the fact that he had finally found his cousin.  More importantly, he was thrilled to see that Ashton was fine and so when the other made it obvious that he didnât know who he was, the misfit could only blink in confusion.  Then came disappointment but he quickly pushed that emotion away as he offered the artist a small smile.  âUm⌠yes. We met when we were littleâŚâ Daewon trailed off, unsure of what to say because he expected the other to remember him and here he was with no clue of who Daewon was.
âSince you donât remember me this is going to sound crazy or strange but I am your cousin. Our moms were sisters.â Rubbing the back of his neck, he gave the other a small smile and waited for his reaction. Â He hoped it would be a good one but he had assumed too much already so it would be safe to expect the worse. Â Even he would be a little wary if someone came up to him, claiming to be his cousin and he knew that the kid he met all those years ago was not the same guy he was looking at right now.
when they were little. ashtonâs childhood became one of those vague memories that he pushed to the back of his mind after the incident with his father. his childhood was something that he didnât want to remember, or even think about for that matter. so, little thoughts or people who he didnât see often was long forgotten with everything else that he threw away after that day. now if only he could finally let go of what happened two years ago, but ashton knew for a fact that was something impossible. such an event that caused him so much trauma that he had to rely on things that could possibly put him in the hospital, or six feet under was what was going to haunted him for as long as possible. he hated it.
his mom, that was another thing that he doesnât remember. not because he pushed the memory out, but because there was no memory to begin with. this mess started with her, and he was at fault for her death. so, when the male mentioned his mother  being the otherâs aunt it was a surprise to him. â oh, iâm sorry... my childhood is a vague memory and he never mentioned family before. come to think of it he didnât mention nothing to me because he never spoke to me... â ashton stated to his âsupposedâ cousin before holding his hand out. â well, nice to meet another member of my family any day. whatâs your name? â not only was it sad to say he didnât know he had a cousin, but he didnât even know the otherâs name either. Â
ksxjie:
jie had been expecting to hear mandarin like usual when his family spoke to him, but when he heard korean.. he felt confused for a moment. so it wasnât who heâd thought it would be. as the other started talking though and jieâs tired but alter self registered the voice of the male speaking to him, he could finally connect the dots anywayâ ashton.Â
honestly, jie wasnât really aware who the other victims were. sure, heâd heard form seunghwan about some of the others, or his brother and the few people that passed by, but he wasnât overly worried about that. he wouldnât unless he found out someone close to him had been hurt badlyâ either way he hadnât bothered keeping up with it. but ashton was here and apparently he hadnât even know jie was in hospital soâ his mind immediately though of the elder getting hurt, and it made him upset really. but still hearing the other speak now beside the bed to him made a small smile twitch up on his lips as he cracked open his eyes to look up at the other from his bundled state in the covers.
âitâs okay, hyung.â he practically whispered, voice quiet in the room still. he was glad now at least the it was ashton though, had it been anyone that he wasnât as close with turning up then he probably wouldâve panicked a little. âi only just woke up.. a few days ago. itâs fine and youâre here.. youâre here now, right?â he smiled a little more, readjusting his position a little so that he could look at the other more comfortably.
he wondered then how much ashton had been affected by it. there were so many people in the school at the time, but it was hard not to think about yours friendsâ some of which jie hadnât even managed to let himself think about of the past couple of days honestly, all because he had to think about himself for once.. like so many were saying. âbut.. if you didnât know i was hereâ w-why are you in the hospital?â
to be quite fair, ashton wasnât expecting the freshman to respond to anything heâd just said. in fact, he honestly thought that the younger was still sleeping when he went off on his little monologue. ashton head lifted up quickly as the younger spoke, his eyes widen to see that his little friend was still alive, and breathing -- even though the sight of him was more painful to bear. â a few days...? how long have you been here? â the artist spoke, worry laced in his voice as he moved up with the other to help him get situated in the bed. â donât move so much, especially since youâre hurt. â he reassured the male. man, he really sounded like this kidâs parent.Â
with a heavy sigh, and after helping jie sit up in the bed with the one arm that was still usable, he sat back down in the chair. his gaze fixated on the other male for a brief moment, ashton spoke. â well, i was getting checked on my arm since i was shot during the incident... they wanted to make sure that my arm was healing as it was suppose to be, but then i heard someone say that you were in the hospital too. which was your brother that pointed me in the direction of your room. so, thatâs how i got here. â ashton nodded as he explained to the younger.
he could tell how worried the other was just by the look that he gaved the male. there were twelve that was hit, and ashton was more than sure that the news were broadcasted all over south korea because of how fast his aunt, and uncle got in contact with him. which ended with another two weeks away from school. there was so much to catch up too.
THE cigarette hang loosely from his lips. now that was a sight to see, ashton would be the last person to go for a cigarette before hitting up a blunt. since, coming back to keisung, then the shooting, and then having to come back again thereâs been nothing but stress. he could say that he was slipping back to his normal ways, but even that was a lie. he was almost positive that there wouldnât be the old ashton any time soon. come to think of it there wasnât a ânormalâ ashton to begin with. heâd never experience what it was like to be a normal student in school because he was always absent during those times or too high to even remember. nowadays, there was an increasingly amount of guilt adding up, and mostly for things that wasnât his fault. though, he couldnât help but to feel that way.
so lost in thought, he didnât realize that there was someone in front of him, until he heard the other ask for a cigarette, and lighter. he fished the box out of his pocket, and handed the person in front of him one as well as his lighter.Â
some company couldnât hurt.
IâVE BEEN NEGLECTING THIS NUGGET FOR SO LONG ! but thankfully with the one thread i have for him iâm keeping this thing going. so, iâm going to post this here, and then reblog for my other two muses. there has been some changes with ashton, you once knew him as the walking hippy/artist/drunk ( more so high all the time than drunk ) but you can head to these following post to learn about each muse.

ksdaewon:
@ksashton
The knowledge that his cousin, the only cousin he had since his father was an only child, went to Keisung caught Daewon by surprise but more than anything, he was scared to death when it became apparent that he had been injured by the shooter. Â To lose his cousin before they could reconnect seemed cruel and when he found out the hospital he was taken to, the misfit didnât hesitate to visit him. Â Lucky was not on his side though because his cousin was not in the room and didnât come back before Daewon had to leave for work. Â By the time he had time to visit him, Ashton had been released and not having any clue of where his cousin lived, Daewon had to give up on finding him until the school opened again.
Even now that he was back in Keisung, he found it hard to find the artist but today it seemed like it was his lucky day when the person he asked pointed at someone across from where he was. Â It had been years since the last time they saw each other and because of this, Daewon couldnât remember Ashtonâs face that well. Â He did remember his name though and with sure steps, he crossed the courtyard until he was standing in front of the younger. Â It was then that his mind reminded him of the young boy he met so many years ago and although he changed, in some way, he still looked the same. Â âAshton, itâs really nice to see that you are fine. I went to the hospital when I heard you were injured but you were not in your room.â
ashton had finally been released from the hospital, and back to the school. upon arrival he was surprised to see that the school looked almost as normal as it did before the incident. as if there were no evidence that a shooting even took place at the school. surprising enough, coming from how this school is built up. then again, they were probably making it easier for the students not to think about the incident -- which to his favor helped him in a way.Â
as he was making his way across campus, ashton stopped upon hearing a voice. a frown sketching his face as he looked back to see someone heading his way. why was the male looking for him, and how he knew him was beyond ashton as he never seen the male before in his life. so he stared at the other for quite sometime to see if anything would ring any bells that would deem familiar to him. sadly, nothing came to mind.
â iâm sorry, but do i know you? â he asked the male now in front of him, confusion laced in his voice as he wonders how the other knows him so well.
ksxjie:
to say heâd been scared since waking up was probably an understatement. he felt almost terrified, like everything around his was a lie now. that something was constantly out to get him. he jumped at the shadows for once, like it was death waiting to grab him again. it was the first time jie had found himself scared of a hospital since he was a child. theyâd grown to be a second home, but now they made him want to curl in on himself. hide.
the past couple of days since waking then had been a mix of his family and seunghwan sticking around, rotating almost like clockwork to keep him company. it was only when he was sleeping that they found it the best time to leave as well, it was only then that jie would even let them. scared of being left alone, like heâd drift off.Â
today was no different to that, having fallen asleep sometime through a movie heâd made his older brother put on for him, mumble out quiet comments at it and smiling almost hesitantly as he watched it before his eyes had drooped and heâd let himself fade off into a much needed rest. sleep came with difficulty now after all, especially at night. he wakes up though to the click of the door, not opening his eyes yet because he figures it would probably just be jin or maybe his mother or father coming back in. instead he just pull the covers closer to him, tugging it around himself as he waits to here the squeak of the plastic chair next to his bed as whoever it is takes their place there again. @ksashton
it had been days since the shooting, and everything was going back to its normal routine. slowly, that is. for ashton, it would take some time getting back into the hang of things as he was one of the victims to get hurt during the incident. which ended with him having to go to the hospital for several check-ups. the check-ups which caused him to have numerous flashbacks of when he was in for two months max. there were a lot of things he would rather not remember, but now that  time has gone it seems that its flooding into his mind more often than regular.
upon heading out of his room, once his check-up was completed ashton happened to pass a few people talking about jie being seriously injured. one looking exactly like him, of course his twin brother. so, halting his step, he managed to catch their attention to ask which room the younger was in. since, his twin was the one who recognized him there was no trouble in getting the room.
ashton arrived as quickly as possible, and was about to slam the door open, but something told him that the male would probably be sleeping. instead, he slowly pulled the door open, and closed it back gently once he was in. it was a sight that he didnât want to see his friend in again. the last time was during the camping trip, this time he was also apart of the victims that was shoot. it hurt him more because ashton vowed to be there for the other when he was in danger, and couldnât even do that. he pulled the chair over to the bed, and sat down -- looking at the younger.
â jie... i said i would be there for you, and couldnât even do that... iâm sorry. if i wouldâve known you were in the hospital all this time i wouldâve came sooner you know? thankfully, i managed to cross paths with your family, thatâs how i found out. iâm so sorry...â ashton lowered his head, feeling probably the worst than he felt when he got shot in the arm, or close to finding out that his father could possibly be out of jail. jie was one friend he didnât want to lose.

jiwoonks:
the driver looked at him skeptically through the rearview mirror. âyou know that thereâsâ,â the man started. âyes, i know, so get there quickly,â jiwoon snapped. he didnât have time for formalities. the only thing on his mind was getting to school as quickly as possible.
HE couldnât text back due to the fear of being caught in the janitorâs closet. so far, it was his hiding spot but even he knew that he couldnât stay in the darken room forever. he could feel his phone vibrating with each message that came through from jiwoon. ashton knew that he would regret telling the older male about what was going on at the school during that moment, but it was the only way for him to make sure the older wasnât at the school. if anything he would rather the other stay as far a way as possible, but that was never the case for jiwoon -- especially when it came to him.Â
ashton turned his phone on, keeping it close to his chest as he glanced at the messages. his stomach felt as though they were doing flips as he read the messages over, and over. even if the other didnât directly say that he was coming, ashton knew just by how the text was worded.Â
a loud buzz followed soon after, signaling that his phone was ringing. ashton quickly picked up the phone. he knew jiwoon would be upset that he told him not to come, but it was for his own good. âhow can i?â he spoke in a hushed tone, not wanting to be heard. âiâm in a closet hiding, i can hear someone outside...â he couldnât lie, and say that his heart wasnât about to jump  out of his chest due to the single sounds of slow footsteps walking back, and forth outside the door. ashton remained quiet for a moment, curling up more as he listened closely.Â
the steps soon picked up pace as if they were leaving the area followed by a few rushed. he knew then that other students were trying to find safety and mustâve gained the shooterâs attention. this was his only chance to get out.Â
âstay where you are at the hospital, jiwoon... i have to go now.â he hurriedly ended the call, and opened the closet door slowly -- phone still clutched in his hand, before making a speedy haste out of the closet. Â

jiwoonks:
[ â â my ash~ ] ashton, is everything okay? whatâs going on?
HIS heart beating at a rapid pace hearing the sounds of gunshots in the distance. ashton wasnât sure where the shooter was at this moment, but she couldnât be far seeing as the sounds were getting louder by with each rang. he felt a buzz from his phone that was clutched in his hand due to a sense of panic that was building up inside of him. this wasnât what he expected for a grand welcome back to the school that he left.Â
[ â â woonie ⥠] why are you at the hospital????
he wasnât expecting that answer, but he was relieved that the male wasnât inside of the school. this wasnât the time for him to be in the midst of everything that was going on. before he could message the older back another message came through. ashton hesitated for moment as he read over the message. should he tell jiwoon exactly what was happening at this moment. if he did then jiwoon would most likely come to the school, and possibly end up getting hurt and that was something he couldnât have. he couldnât forgive himself if the older male had come to find him, and ended up getting hurt or worst....
shoving his phone in his pocket, ashton moved forward. he knew he couldnât stay in the same spot for long before someone found him -- worst the shooter. he began to run across the campus grounds, hiding in certain spots that he could find before moving again. he repeated this process until he made it to the main building.Â
it was a disaster, things were a total mess. it was as if the person flipped out -- which she did, and took her rage out on anything she could get her hands on. ashton wonder just what exactly caused the shooter to go to such lengths to get her message to be heard. it scared in in the slightest bit. he was so close yet so far from the main entrance of the building. he heard footsteps moving towards his direction, ashton quickly moved into the nearest closet keeping the lights off, and curling up in the corner of the small room. he quickly took out his phone after much searching, keeping the screen close to him so it would illuminate the darken closet.Â
[ â â woonie ⥠] thereâs a shooting at the school right now. you may think this is some kind of cruel joke iâm playing but iâm more serious than ever... the school is a mess, please stay where you are....Â
[ â â woonie ⥠] donât come, iâm...
[ â â woonie ⥠] ill make it out

jiwoonks:
he truly missed ashton. this is technically the longest theyâve gone without seeing each other since they had entered the academy and it was a very surreal feeling to not have the other male with him. another part of him was also glad he wasnât around for jiyeonâs accident. he shouldnât have to be burdened with jiwoonâs own problems, and maybe it would give jiwoon time to detach his romantic feelings from the boy.
[ â â my ash~ ] iâve.. been better [ â â my ash~ ] are you back at school?
he had assumed that the boy should be coming back soon and he might think it was weird that jiwoon wasnât on campus. heâd have to explain it at some point, but today was not that day. heâd let ashton get settled before breaking that type of news to him.
AND maybe the peace, and quiet heâd gotten from the empty dorm room was helping as much. not that he wasnât used to no one being in the room he also had to remind himself that winter break had ended, and school schedules were in normal routine. this had been the longest time heâd spent away from the older, and he could say that heâd grown accustom to being alone and away from a vast amount of people.Â
[ â â woonie ⥠ ] oh? did something happen?
he hit the send button, and not even a second later he could hear sirens going throughout the dorm halls. it was faint, followed by the sound of someone speaking in a muffled tone. ashton moved from his bed, and headed out his dorm. maybe the could be a reason why things were so quiet around the dorm and maybe the sight of one or two students running to get out of the dormitory.Â
he knew the quietness wouldnât last long that was something out of the norm for keisung after all.Â
the announcement sounded as if it was on repeat, and it didnât fully click in ashtonâs mind to get to safety as everything was happened so fast. he caught on to bits and pieces; such as words of âsafetyâ and âshooterâ. maybe this was a time to get out of where he was, but his feet seemed to be frozen to the ground as he stood between the doorway looking out into the halls. his initial thought was was jiwoon on campus, but he couldnât be... then again...
[ â â woonie ⥠ ] iâm at school, but are you????
things were starting to catch up to him, a sense of panic rushed through him as he took off and making his way down the stairs. the closer he gotten to the first floor the more people he heard. it was a crowd of people pushing past to get out of the door, and ashton needed another alternative to get out of the dormitory. looking around he went to find the nearest emergency exit, but at the same time he needed to be cautious towards his surroundings.Â
[ â â woonie ⥠ ] where are you right now??
he sent another message, hoping that the older male was safe. he wasnât sure what was going on ashton just knew he needed to get out of the campus grounds and into another hiding place.Â
seeing upon when he arrived outside people were scurrying left, and right. he could only image what the main building state was in, but that was his only way to getting off the campus.Â

jiwoonks:
it was jiwoonâs fifth day at the hospital and, if he was honest, he was developing cabin fever. he hadnât talked to many peopleâonly jaehyun, nari, yongjoon, and junhwanâand heâd only left once to pick up clothes from the dorms. he didnât have the luxury to leave more then a few hours at a time, a day at most. he was scrolling through his tumblr when he realized he hadnât talked to ashton since jiyeonâs accident. he opened his texts to ashton and hesitated before typing:
[Â â â my ash~ ] hey
he rolled his eyes at himself as he pressed send. that didnât sound like him at all. âheyâ?
[ â â my ash~ ] howâs life treating you?
ASHTON was finally back on school grounds, his things placed in its respectful places back in his dorm. there was still a weight upon his shoulders, but things felt a bit lighter now that he was back at keisung. no matter how strange it seemed he found it to be some kind of safe haven for him. to see familiar faces was something he somehow looked forward too. at least there was a lesser chance of that man finding him here.Â
ashton had finally made it to his bed, and laid down. it had been awhile, and he could say that the bed at his auntâs house was more comfortable than the one at keisung. upon him laying down, he felt buzzing in his pocket and looked at his phone. the contact name was very familiar, and yet it had been quite a while since he last contacted the older male.
[ â â woonie ⥠ ] unfairly....Â
he responded with a sigh as he hit the send button. of course it had, but ashton was sure that the male was under the same predicament as he.Â
[ â â woonie ⥠ ] are you doing well lately..?
. acceleration
time doesnât always heal the pain.Â
he packs his bags, and leaves for the winter break. his aunt wanted to see him again, after all itâs been two years. he wasnât hesistant -- everyone at keisung was just in the back of his mind at that moment. he doesnât look back, and tells the taxi driver to move forward. a heavy weight bringing him down more, and more.
HELLO ! are you reading this now, that means the queue for hansol is finished and this is up next. ashton is back in business, and hopefully you didnât miss him too much, right? christmas season is over, and its a new year. look below to see updates and changes ;
