Oregon Bound

Hey guys! I have a dilemma. I know I'm wanting to move to Oregon (shooting for October 2021) but have no idea exactly where to settle down. Looking at a few choice areas based off a census site I found online:

Corbett/ Gresham

Medford/ Ashland

Tigard/ Lake Oswego

Estacada

The only city I've actually been to is Ashland. I loved the vibe and enjoyed the college city atmosphere, despite the lingering smoke of a nearby forest fire...

I'm curious where people would suggest a couple in their 30s to go. No kids yet so schools and daycare don't necessarily need to be a factor. I would like to stay outside of major cities, if I can. Currently, I work for a bank and can easily transfer anywhere!

Any suggestions or tips for moving halfway across the US would be appreciated!
