THIS though. THIS. Hanna grew up thinking she was fat and ugly, with terrible self-esteem. She was made fun of and mocked on a daily basis, having who she thought was one of her bst friends nickname her “Hefty Hanna” and say that it would take her more time than other people to find someone who actually loves for who she is. The same friend who encouraged her to develop an eating disorder and would make remarks as soon as she was going to eat something. This poor girl thought she was ugly and impossible to love and here she has a sweet, innocent little girl telling her she’s pretty, and truly meaning it. And what does our lovely Hanna do? She listens, and she gratefully accepts it. She has come so far since the days of Ali torturing her and she knows that she deserves love, and that she is beautiful, inside and out. AND not only this, but she calls this little girl pretty too. Not because she has to, no. Because she knows that is, and because she knows that every little girl deserves to know that she is pretty too. Hanna, ladies and gentlemen. Our hero.
