Its time to step away from using 4k video downloader to rip random songs from youtube to play on Kyle's extra pretty and fun setup and start over for fundamentals so I don't run around a destination that I can run straight to. I think I realized that my contribution to the set we recorded the other night is going to be 50% poorly produced tracks with me combatting production deficits manually while playing??? Special mention for the fully corrupted files lol. I could still be wrong about that but this is the process to check on that right now. Still stoked about what we recorded tho, even if no one spends the time to save it it was super fun and I loved the sound all the way through. The cool thing is that you can always make more music.

This is Nic's baby mixer (I feel like he's down for me to return it with it set up but I also feel weird pulling the protective stickers off so I probably won't lol) to step back with and figure some things out for real. Playing tracks that sound like shit isn't fun anymore and I need more tools that I can't have until I solidify the ones I have. Growth in new things is fun and I get to do it with enjoyment ONLY thanks to the guidance and patience of my friends who make it possible, thank you I'm very grateful 🙏🏻 gonna figure this out and restructure everything now. xxK

Welcome 

I started this blog originally as a place to visualize my world from this perspective. That sounds convoluted, but its accurate- I have felt inept at social media so far. Turns out,  I was never looking for social media at all. It’s a requirement for all of us who want to be exposed to new art and music and thoughts, but the social media that is a chore in that way can be informed by a social media that is fun and for me. This platform acts as an outlet for the ideas I have that I would only post on IG on an anonymous vibe account, and be locked in to a grid and a format that doesn’t promote discussion or thoughtful consumption, or anything constructive. I don’t care if anyone reads this. I’d prefer you didn’t maybe, but don’t care strongly enough either way to not give my thoughts some room to breathe or receive feedback (maybe make a friend or two I otherwise wouldn’t have had the pleasure of getting to know just by allowing myself to be represented on the internet by my own little world). So here we are. Community encouraged. 

I am driven by my own passions, or the passions of those I support or inspire me. Or of anyone working towards getting to live in their passion. Any of that has me in action. But I am a master of procrastination without motivation, and although my first few strokes on the start of this blog were the only ones that felt like a task, that is how those felt. Now I’m laying on my bed, feet crossed, typing in my room at 8:30 on a Thursday like a middle school kid to my audience of none on my web page that I semi-customized. It brings me joy though, and thats what we’re following lately. My true motivator for this has been the beginning of a love for music that the inklings were there for, but I never really understood I had the ability to have real access. It turns out I might. I would normally just do it and tell you what I learned later- but in this case, I need a way to organize my influences and a general creative outlet for my headspace. I’m going to keep this blog as a journal of my early learning process in music and whatever else (like a real blog!). Lmk if your curation aligns with mine though, I would love to chat and find a way to collaborate. That includes professional projects. Shoot me a message to be directed to Null Society Studio or discuss freelance inquiries of any kind. 

I’m gonna go play some songs now off the rip for the last time before I get serious and structure a set list (or tons) to test. Digging some stuff on this album (song choice for link is random pick ur own faves and lmk) xxK
