Heat burrowed in the cheeks of Noize, her determination burning higher than the cursed food that she is forced to eat. Technically, she’s not being forced to shove down one of the hottest food ever existed, but the contest itself was calling out for her. People from all over the city had arrived to see the annual contest. Apparently, the sight of people burning their faces off was an amusing sight.
Noize barely had the energy to wave to her fans in front of the crowd as she got to the last piece. While her stomach was shrieking at her to stop, she smiled as her teeth chewed the last bit of the spicy chicken off the bone. The contest was finished for her; her food now free with a cookie to settle down her stomach. Cheers erupted the restaurant, the rest of the contestants still at work.
Before she thought that she was finished, Noize’s stomach growled lowly. Not being able to go through the entire contest again (especially since she wasn’t allowed to do it a second time), she looked around to see which contestants had opped out. There a small group sitting next to hers, Noize’s group only consisting of her parents who only ate off the normal menu, and one of the girls was currently drowning down a cup of milk. Seeing one more chicken left, it was enough to end her starvation.
Just as Noize and her parents got up to leave, Noize reached her arm out toward the girl’s chicken and swiped it off the plate. There were some noises after the action, but Noize didn’t turn back as she continues towards the door. In her mind, she’ll never see those people ever again. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on her side when a week later at an interview, both girls met again. At least the both of them laughed at the circumstances.
Noize, like other young people her age, had been accepted to an entertainment company, signaling the start of her career. Normal teens don’t understand the stress that trainees go through on a daily basis. Especially if you were expected to continue to do good in school and at your profession that you are currently practicing to do.
So instead of friending ordinary children, trainees are forced to acquaintance with other trainees, even if they aren’t from the same company. While they are known to be competition, trainees found it in their hearts to ignore the company’s pressure of perfection and become kind with one another. That’s how Noize met one of her best friends that she is still in contact till this day.
Kai was a few years old than Noize, but since she was doing so well in school, she was able to move up a couple of grades that would actually challenge her. While being challenged would stress Noize out, even more, it’ll get her to graduation faster so that she’ll only focus on her career. Going back to meeting Kai, it’s not very clear of how or when exactly the two of them met; but they were in the same class and somehow during that year they became close with each other. The friendship started off simple, nothing complicating the future.
on the variety show that you host
It was a couple of weeks since Noize started off as a host on her new variety show, The Match-Makers, and they were interviewing the popular group BigBang. The boys were extraordinarily weird, but they were nice to be around as they weren’t truly obnoxious or arrogant (except for Seungri’s moments where he wants to be better than everyone else). The hosts taught games that the members would have to play in order to win prizes, and the members, in turn, would tell information about their comeback that would be exciting for both the hosts and their fans.
The other hosts were really focused on the other members, who were currently wrestling with one and another in order to get a flag when the maknae came over to Noize. The both of them heard of one another but they haven’t formally met in person. Until now.
Words weren’t clear in memory to this day, but apparently, Seungri pulled out a pun that forced a laugh out of Noize. From that, Noize and Seungri somehow got to the point that they begin roasting each other through the episode. The female idol didn’t expect much from that episode until the end of the day when she was packing up. In her bag, she got the number of Seungri. Ever since that day, the two of them do not stop roasting. Like true masters.
PLEDIS thought of a way to save money around the holidays; white elephant gifts. Trainees and idols are randomly grouped together, each giving a group or individual a present. It’s more of a simple gift than an expensive gift. The point of it doesn’t really make sense, but to have a nice time mingling with one another. Noize was given the group, Pristin. She heard a bunch about them, their songs being popular on the radio. It’s hard to decide what to gift a group of girls that she hasn’t met or worked with, so Noize only had one thing to go off by: their common interest.
The day that the two of them were due to exchange gifts was coming quick. Meaning it was going to take place in less than 5 minutes. This makes Noize uneasy, anxious for the following event. As said before, she had never met these girls in person. They could either be the opposite of what she hoped for or be exactly what she hopes for. Much thought hasn’t been given as the door opened up to a number amount of people: Pristin.
The young ladies joined Noize in a circle that she unexpectedly started. One of them held the gift, the rest awkwardly looking at one another. Noize looks down at her present, hoping that it would be good enough for all ten members. Handing them the medium size delicate object, the solo idol waited patiently for them to open it. They passed it to the girl that was directly across from Noize. The two girls looked at each other before ripping off the plastic paper.
Noize stared at the object in her lap, some wrapping still tapped to it. It was a box that contained beats. She actually needed new headphones since hers broke after Seungri’s last visit. Long story, very unexplainable events leading up to such disaster. How the girls know that she needed them was beyond her understanding, but she appreciated it. Noize gave the girls a generous smile, bowing her head as thanks.
The girl across her bowed her head, holding the speakers box in her hands. Noize asked one of their crew members what the group as one would need. Louder music seemed to be the issue, so it was easy to find and buy what was needed. An awkward silence filled the room. It would probably be that way for the full hour that they were supposed to be in there if it weren’t for two girls beginning a conversation. Noize didn’t participate at first, but after a few minutes of being silent, she joined in. The hour then went by faster than all of them expected; their managers coming in the room to collect their clients yet to see them deep in talk. It saddened the adults to separate them, but work was required that day.
After saying their farewells, they left each other for that day. However, their friendship hasn’t ended there. They hung out most weekends, only if they are still in the same country. They also have group chats that are filled with nonsense. While they aren’t best friends, but they enjoy each other presence.
Noize was standing in a long line with her four brothers, the fifth one missing. The siblings thought that he was searching for a snack, so they weren’t totally worried about his whereabouts. It wasn’t until they were halfway up the line when their brother came back. The difference is the occupant beside him. Noize and her brothers looked at one another before staring at their youngest for an explanation.
“Who’s this?” asked Noize as there is no answer. The youngest looked up from his phone, quickly glanced up at the stranger before a light popped above his head.
“Oh! This is Ren, he lost his friends. Instead of having him standing awkwardly like a little child, I thought he could join us on a ride.” with that said, the group of them slowly pulled the stranger into the conversation.
They learned a lot about the boy, including his cat Lucky, and he learned about them. The ride was worth the line. Screams erupted from potential victims; laughter escaping their cages after fear left; rush of energy hype up the bodies. Nothing could stop the fun. Except for the shouts of distress.
The group left the ride only to be met up with a bunch of boys running around, bothering every few people that they could start. It confused most of them, except for one. The plan was to avoid them as much as they can. It would have worked, had they passed by silently, but they were shocked by one of the panicked boys.
“IM SO SORRY FOR ANNOYING YOU- but my friends and I- our little buddy- my little son… We can’t find him… He’s about this height, and he answers to-”
“Minhyun?” Ren spoked, pushing himself to the front of the crowd. The said boy looked at the younger boy. Noize stepped away from the pair, not sure what is going to happen. Whether a big hug, a huge cry, or even a secret handshake. However, they did not expect the older boy to start punching Ren’s shoulder.
The siblings were scared of Ren’s safety until a burst of cheer came out of the boys. Both friends separated from one another. Minhyun left only to get the rest of their friends to stop harassing everyone. A little reunion came about before Ren introduced the two groups with each other. Everyone got along and decided to spend the rest of the day with each other.
They also learned another thing about one another: the boys were signed to the same company as Noize.
Song: Mask (produced by SUGA)
Song: Mirror Mirror on the Wall (ft. Noize)
Noize stood in front of the half oval crowd, all the attention on the boys who wore tight shorts. It’s a weird thing to notice at first, but after a little thought, a little equality in clothing couldn’t hurt. While their fashion choices would bring up a roar of consideration, it wasn’t the main focus.
The boys were dancing to covers; some of them were boy groups and others of them were girl groups, showing off that they have enough talent to do both. Each one of them moved in sync that it was hard to see a mistake (if there was one). Rthyum was in their blood. Their bones part of a machine. They were the definition of picture perfect.
It didn’t take long for the song to end. The leader, an assumption from the crowd, announce their ten-minute break before joining his boys. People left as entertainment disappeared. While the current crowd is fading, a new crowd would be able to enjoy the new sets that the boys had to offer.
Noize couldn’t help but be amazed by what she witnessed. How could one, or in this case more, move their body in an ungodly way yet still be so graceful? How could long have they trained? What passions come from this? There were so many questions that she wanted to know, so she went for it. Noize was not shy.
Walking over to the boys, Noize noticed their nervous and surprised stares. It was clear as day that these five boys had not dreamt that a girl would go up to them. Let’s rephrase that because boys probably think about that all the time. They weren’t expecting anyone to come to them to ask about their performance.
When Noize was met up with the boys, she asked some questions about their group. What do they call themselves, how long have they been dancing for, etc. They all answered confidently except for one who seemed to be shyer than the rest. Noize wanted to get him to open up a little more, but it was difficult when the boy was hiding behind his elders.
A.C.E. noticed the younger boy’s actions and decided to him by leaving. AS they left, the boy was then forced to communicate with Noize. It was awkward at first, but eventually, they got onto a topic that both had in common. The conversation was very deep when the boys came back, announcing their next performance. Chan looked very disappointed when he slowly made his way over to his friends. What he didn’t know was that Noize left her number in his bag, which lead to an amazing adventure in the future.
The public sees this man as one of silent evil. He has all the factors: handsome figures, amazing talent, mature personality, and a mysterious/mischievous nature. So you can tell that it’s hard to catch the eye of one who is literally everything that one can be. Though he is a human being, a person who is capable of having flaws. As you are known to be the most realist and possibly the most human idol that he witnessed, he’ll often keep up with your work and any rumors about you (only to scoff at them and help defend you if it comes to that point).
When you aren’t promoting your new comeback or managing your own business, you found time to host a variety show with a couple of co-stars. While you aren’t on every episode, you do find some time to join a good amount of fun before going back to the responsibilities of an idol. In challenges that are towards the hosts (not guest idols who are usually the ones doing everything), you are often paired with boys are they view you as the strongest and wisest. That would stir some childish bickering (no grudges though) but once the games start, no one would be safe.
One of your favorite things to do is sing. It’s no question as you’re a solo singer, but that doesn’t stop you from singing offstage. Music is your life. On your days off, which is not often, you would constantly go to karaoke bars with friends. Your friends would repetitively joke that you should own the place since you already tell them what to do and how to do it. Unfortunately for them, you took that too seriously. After long months of planning, having meetings with PLEDIS, acceptance from the company, and some business classes about later leads to the opening day of Noizers Bar. Your bar would get high reviews not only because you’re an idol, but the place has actually good service and up to date songs. Of course, you would get the occasional bad review here and there as customers are often disappointed that you haven’t shown up to greet them. Some people just don’t understand how busy you can be.
You are of drinking age, so it’s no surprise that people could see you with an alcoholic beverage. Being an idol has a lot of pressure and a lot of hard work, it can tumble one’s health. These kinds of problems happen a lot in ordinary people, but it’s a huge crisis when a celebrity has shown weakness.
A spur broke out at a small pub in Seol, creating a huge attraction for paparazzi when rumors spread about a large celebrity being at a local’s place. You were just wanting to be alone with your small group of friends, each of you having time off from each of your comebacks. Kai and Jiho went home early after a few drinks, having dance practice in the next morning, which leads you and Seungri to create chaos into the night.
The night was a blur for the both of you, just praying to whatever you believe did have no consequences. Luck was on your side that night. The both of you had caused a disturbance in that bar when you had the bright idea of playing truth or dare. Many dares and some truths later, the both of you are escorted out of the premises with paparazzi just out the doors waiting for blood.
Headlines about the events were all over the internet, appearing before the two of you even knew what happened. Before the week was up, the two of you apologized to the public about your embarrassment and actions, learning from this experience. While things were a little rocky with your company, it passed and your careers were able to continue.
