I miss Iceland. My wife and I brought our daughter here when she was 2 (she saw the aurora as well, but bedtime for her in this photo). She is 4 now, and continues to tell us she wants to go back. Last post of the year. This location was one of my favorites of 2021. I took this photo back in February. I remember driving the 6+ hours roundtrip, and "walking" the sketchy steps down to the waterfall that became a steep slide with all the snow/ice. I was here earlier in the year during the summer and left without taking a photo. The light wasn't right, it was too hot, too crowded, too tiring from an earlier hike, too many excuses.
