I was here earlier in the year during the summer and left without taking a photo. The light wasn't right, it was too hot, too crowded, too tiring from an earlier hike, too many excuses. So I came back hoping I would get a shot in the winter. This short hike right off 9D and minutes away from Cold Spring station is a stroll in the park... but plan your visit off peak as the parking situation can get hectic.
