I have been working from home for 3 weeks now. This pandemic has thought us so much about how things can change in an instant. In an instant plans were paused but definitely not cancelled.
Anyway, I am not posting this to rant about this pandemic. lol. I haven't been taking photos for quiet some time now. I can still remember saying back then that if I already own a camera I will not stop taking photos but after I bought a camera I no longer have that drive when I used to just take photos using my mobile phone. Uhg! The irony of life.
Last weekend, November 8, 2020 me and my housemate Pia decided to go do some errands like laundry, water refill and get her car plate number from the car owner and yes she has a new car . lol! Earlier that day I binged watched Jessica Kobeissi's YouTube videos. She's a photographer that I really like. check her YouTube page if you have time(promotion right there XD). Anyway, I got inspired to finally pick up by dusty old Fujifilm XE2 with 35mm 1.7 Meike lens. Please enjoy the photos I took that day. ^_^
These are just my favorite from all the photos I took hat night and I am not very satisfied. I still don't feel that eagerness to take photos and think about the shots I take. For writers they call it writer's block and I feel the same. I know photography is my hobby but I no longer have that same old drive back when I was just contented taking photos with my mobile phone. I still enjoy browsing and watching about photography though and I feel happy about that, at least I know that I am not totally trying to get rid of photography from my system.
Life right now might not be what we actually planned or envisioned. Do not let this discourage you to continue to chase for your dreams, enjoy what you love and do no take for granted the little things that is already a blessing. Stay positive and choose to be kind, always. Anyeong! ^_^
