The contents of the booklet we created (excluding the back cover as that exceeded the number of images I could fit on this post).

These are some images from our actual presentation set up with our Hero Image and Thinking Drawing pinned up on the board, with the tātai whetū displayed on the stand underneath along with our booklet. We also put out a jug of water and a bowl for people to wash their hands and neutralise tapu.
These images show our presentation coming together as we tested our multiple elements (sound, GIF, main projection, star/constellation projection) all at once.

Kareena figure out how to put videos into the background of PowerPoint slides which added a lot more depth into our presentation and really added to the atmosphere, so we decided to go ahead with the idea.

This video “Presentation #2″ shows our testing with the project title and subtitle added to the PowerPoint.
“Presentation #3″ shows the title slide with relaxing atmospheric music in the background.
“Presentation #4″ shows our test of the section storyboard frames with the moving background.
This was our initial planning for the presentation space, the main thing we changed in the end was the board; we decided to use the one that was on the end instead as our decision to project most of our work changed the need for a board in the end.

This is our groups plan for the projectors, lighting, and space we’ll be using for the presentation.

From our first ideas for the presentation we expanded on them and thought about creating a video made up of a series of GIFs that would play on the long wall in the presentation space, with our printed work pinned up on the board at the side.
After further discussion we decided as a group that creating a series of GIFs wasn’t feasible in the time we had left and so revised our idea of GIFs and thought about simply projecting the work onto the long wall instead.

This is from the initial testing in the presentation space where our group came up with some idea on how we might present our work.

Testing out the dimensions of the bus table within the bus prototype space.
We did a test print of our four A2 pages and made notes on the changes we needed to make.
Hero Image:
The image quality isn’t great so this needs to be fixed.
The glow for the stars needs to be made brighter.
Lines from the photoshop document didn’t print and so need to be made visible.
The contrast between the hero image and the background needs to be greater as it is lost at the moment.
Technical Drawings:
Add break lines to the table detail image.
Spacing of one of the measurements.
Adding dimensions.
Fix the missing arrows.
