I read this book after finding a tiktok about it. I did not read the series but this book starts off with an online friendship, and it seems ok. But then it gets a little weird, when you go through and realize that the entire series takes place over maybe 6mo it makes you question the main characters sanity. At what point do you let a stranger who you met online live with you and keep you under watch 24/7? Yes there is a threat, which they kind of try to tie in but it resolves itself in the cleanest way possible and doesn’t make any sense. There are things mentioned that maybe get tied in later in the series but doubtful. It tends to also fall into a rinse and repeat kind of story, along with “the best security team.”
Overall if you’re looking for a quiet guy who is intimidatingly possessive, this books for you.
