I'm Nour Alanqar, and reaching out to you during a time of unimaginable hardship. I am 26 years old, married to Ashraf Ismail, who is 32, and together we have three beautiful children: Hussein, 6, Rajaa, 5, and Youssef, just 10 months old. Our lives have been turned upside down by the devastating war in Gaza, and we desperately need your help.

My daughter Rajaa is a radiant beam of sunshine, bringing boundless joy, warmth, and love to everyone she meets.

On a dark night at the beginning of the war, our area was subjected to massive bombing. The explosions reached our home, forcing us to flee into the night, running amidst periodic explosions and searching for survival. We made our way to southern Gaza by morning, seeking refuge in Rafah.

This is our home, filled with our memories and moments of joy and happiness, now reduced to rubble. Its destruction shattered our hearts.

In Rafah, we found shelter in a crowded warehouse filled with strangers, all of us struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, safety, and cleanliness. Despite these challenges, we were again hit by direct bombardment. My husband was injured in the shoulder, and the scene around us was filled with blood and corpses. The cries of my children in those moments still echo in my head.

A fragment of what it once was, and now, what it has become.

We moved several times to places described as safe, only to face new tragedies. During this period, my precious daughter Raja contracted hepatitis, adding to our suffering.

It was incredibly difficult for me to endure these disasters, especially as I was in the process of giving birth. Youssef was deprived of proper breastfeeding and the necessary nutrition for his age. Hussein's right to education and a safe childhood have been cruelly taken from him.

My baby Youssef, whom I clung to throughout the war, running with him through the rubble of shattered homes to escape.

At an age when Hussein should have been enjoying his childhood, all his rights were taken away from him.

Our situation is dire, and we need your support to rebuild our lives and provide a future for our children. Your kindness and generosity can make a profound difference. Your contributions will help us secure safe shelter, access to medical care, and the basic necessities of life.

Yayy!! Did an animatic about 2 of my Sans OCs for pride month ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)✨

Haven't posted here in a while,, so far the illustrations I've made are OCs related so I just didn't think it's relevant to post it here TT (I'm more active in Insta)... Will get back to it soon tho,, and I wanted to upload this one here cuz it's my first animatic and I'm kindaaaa proud of it :DD!!

Little stuff 'bout them:

- They're part of the Traveling Circus! A performing outcode group I made who are basically AU hoppers either to entertain or cause ruckus throughout the multiverse. Their concept is already written out, but prone to changes!

- Hoax (with the top hat🎩) is the Magician and Acting Ringmaster, while Hackney is an Animal Illusionist! (i don't want it to be the traditional animal trainer.. i love animals, man ;-;)

- They won't be the only ones part of the group ofc, more to come with unique roles soon 👀..

Do you have any tips for beginner artists?

Hmmmmm... Tips... (Personal advice incoming so take it with a grain of salt!)

- Honestly, just like other artists may have already said, look for inspiration :D!! A lot of artists like me start off with passion, but when that wavers cuz of whatever life circumstance has troubled us, it's in inspiration that reawakens that passion to keep us going forward! There's a lot out there and it varies in each artist which makes them feel inspired (๑˘︶˘๑)💖

- Another is to NOT stress about quality, especially reaching the point of comparing your art with others. Keep it casual, keep it as a hobby! Unless you take the business route, take it easy and it's best to enjoy the process of making your creations without pressure and time-constraints, aye? You can mix both but ya must keep it balanced! Don't let stress burn your passion out (;﹏;) ,,cuz time will eventually take its turn and whatever your goal may be.. mayhaps you wouldn't have even realized that you got your own brand/art style with your own audience that loves whatever you make! Or maybe just being proud to have accomplished maintaining your nice gallery of masterpieces once you go so far~ ( ´ ∀ `)ノ～✨

°° Sorry for the long essay, I wish to make it an answer worth reflecting on! I'm in the middle of trying to apply this advice in my own life, so I'm speaking from experience ^^;; I've gotten so many burnouts over the years, and still am trying to pick myself back up from one, which has led me to be so outdated and left behind with the ongoing trends or events of the media (╥_╥)... Either way, the nostalgic roadtrip I'm currently on is my current inspiration to draw and entertain those with similar interests!! I believe in you, Anon!! Just keep going and don't forget to take breaks too C: °°
