👀 Sign-ups & Claiming Open Tomorrow!
It's almost time!!! Writer & Artist sign-ups and claiming, along with Beta sign-ups, will open tomorrow 25th July @ 00:01 BST!!
To submit a claim, you will need:
📧 A valid email - the mods will email you about your claim
📝 An Ao3 account - please request an Ao3 account invite if you don't already have an account
💬 Your Discord - optional, if you want to join the Discord server
To claim a prompt, you'll need to complete the claiming form and enter your top 3 prompt choices in order of preference. Claims will be processed in the order the forms are submitted and assigned based on availability, so the first person to submit a valid claim for an available prompt will receive it.
1️⃣ If your first choice is still available, you'll receive that prompt.
2️⃣ If your first choice has already been claimed, you'll receive your second choice.
3️⃣ If both your first and second choices have been claimed, you'll receive your third choice.
If all three of your selections have already been claimed, we'll contact you and ask you to submit another claiming form with three new choices.
Each prompt may be claimed once for fic and once for art, so a prompt claimed by a writer may still be available to an artist, and vice versa. Or you can claim it for both art and fic! You can verify a prompt's claim status in the Prompt Gallery, where it will be marked as one of the following:
🔓 Claimable for Art & Fic — available for both
✍️ Claimable for Fic — still available for a writer
🎨 Claimable for Art — still available for an artist
🧠 Claimed (Self-Prompt) — what it says on the tin
🔒 Fully Claimed — claimed for both Fic and Art, either by one creator or two different ones
If you submitted a self-prompt, you will still need to fill out the form! Just remember your prompt number.
Once we've reviewed your form, the mods will email you to confirm which prompt you've been assigned. Please do not begin creating until you have received your official confirmation!
Would you like to help support one of our creators? Sign-up as a beta-reader or an art-beta! You are welcome to volunteer whether or not you are also participating as a creator.
Beta sign-ups will open at the same time as Writer and Artist sign-ups.
Please note that signing up as a beta or requesting beta support does not guarantee that everyone will be matched. Beta matches will depend on whether we have a beta whose:
💞 Strengths and specialties fit the creator's needs
💞 Preferred fic length or art medium/style is compatible
💞 Turn-around time works with the creator's schedule (and vice versa)
💞 Squicks and other limitations align with the creator's work
We'll do our best to find suitable matches, but we may not be able to match every creator who requests beta support.
