It’s wild to be in a cult that’s lead by your grandmother—who also happens to be your employer and landlord—and one of the many ways they exert their control over people who slighted them (see: pointed out that they’ve been severely underpaid) is to write potential other landlords to tell them that they were terrible employees who are completely unrehireable, effectively ensuring they end up unhoused.
